Visiting Inari in Lapland, Finland (Video)

Lake Inari in Northern Lapland is a unique lake in the world, not only because it is home to the Sami indigenous people but because it is the only lake in the world North of the Arctic Circle who’s water melts during the summer. During my recent visit to Inari I was able to enjoy again this beautiful part of Finland, my favorite part of the country by far. The outdoor activities are a blast and I really loved the food which has a distinct and natural flavor.

In this video I visit Inari, the SIIDA museum, a husky farm and learn about how reindeer population is controlled and how these animals are critical to the way of life of the Lappish people.
