Holiday Gift Ideas for the Traveler

Gifts for travelers should help them make their journeys easier, capture memories and just be something they will enjoy. With all of the different options available, it can be difficult to figure out what kind of gift you should give as you definitely want to purchase something that the traveler can use. These holiday gift ideas can help virtually any traveler no matter where in the world they are going too.

Lens Set

Many of us take pictures with our phones when we are traveling. It’s just a lot more convenient to pull out our phones versus having to haul around a big camera. Unfortunately, our phones just don’t have all of the capabilities that cameras do, but a lens set can help. These sets allow our phones to take zoom, wide-angle and fisheye pictures. They are lightweight and come with a storage case so that the person you are giving them too can easily slip them into their carry on bag.

Travel Journal

While traveling there are bound to be quite a few memories that no one wants to forget. A travel journal can make a great companion for any traveler. These journals are filled with blank pages, challenges to cure downtime boredom and prompts to encourage the gift receiver to talk about some of their travel adventures.

Silk Eye Mask

One of the easiest ways to sleep in the car or on a plane is by wearing an eye mask to block out light. Unfortunately, they often get a bad rap because they can pull on the skin that’s around the eyes and cause wrinkles to form. Luckily, there is a solution: silk eye masks. Silk is gentle on the skin and won’t cause premature aging. What this means is that no matter how much the gift receiver uses this eye mask they won’t be able to blame you for any wrinkles that pop up!

Durable Backpack

Travelers often are in need of a backpack. They want something durable that they can take with them when they are out looking at monuments and need to carry some snacks or are buying souvenirs and need a place to store them. A backpack that’s made out of durable material makes for a great gift. If the gift recipient tends to travel to places that aren’t always the safest, consider purchasing them an anti-theft backpack. Not only are they durable, but they have a whole host of safety features including slash resistant material and built in lights.

This is one of my favorite gifts on the list as it’s so unique! Every month the gift recipient will receive a world subscription box. It will be filled with items from a different country each month. These items include snacks and beverages.
