What Your Favorite Christmas Cookie Says About You

During this time of year there’s a good chance that you’re going to be around a lot of cookies. From Christmas parties, work gatherings or family get togethers, there always seems to be some sort of cookie swap. Which cookie is your first choice? Do you go for the traditional cut out cookies or the more unique spanish wedding cookies? Do you prefer crunchy or soft cookies? Each person has their own cookie style which may resemble their personality traits.  This is what your favorite Christmas cookie says about you.

Cut-Out Cookies

These sugar cookies are fun to make and eat. They always stand out no matter what other cookie they are sitting next too. Those who find these cookies to be their favorite generally are sweet, simple, playful, genuine, like to stand out in the crowd, and have a lot of energy. You love all things Christmas!  For those that go all out when decorating their sugar cookies….that tends to come out in your fashion choices as well!

M&M Cookies

These cookies tend to be a big hit almost any time of year. Christmas M&M cookies often use red and green candies to make them more festive. Those who turn to this cookie tend to be more traditional. They don’t like to go outside of their comfort zone and like things that remind them of when they were a kid. They can be flirtations, but generally committed to family and relationships. You have a big personality and often dominate a room. Confident, bold, a hardworking leader, always on the go.

Gingerbread Cookies

This is one of the most popular cookies holiday cookies. They can be paired with a variety of foods and wines which make them very versatile. Those that like this type of Christmas cookie the most pay attention to details, are on the cutting edge, bold (not afraid to say what’s on your mind,) and see possibilities in every situation.  You love adventure and travel.  You can be sweet, with a bite if rubbed the wrong way. You thrive on the passion of the moment, are picky about who you date and can be a bit dramatic.

Thumbprints

These cookies are fun and easy to make, especially with children. Although traditionally they are filled with raspberry, you can use your favorite jams or preserves.   It’s not surprising that those who love these types of cookies tend to be a kid at heart. They are versatile, find a lot of value in the little things and are all about family. You like to try and shape or mold impressionable people. Some may consider you an introvert.

Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies

Some people look forward to this cookie all year. The crunch of the sugar, along with the chocolate kiss melting into the peanut butter cookie…sweet with a hint of salty.  Those that choose this cookie as their favorite tend take life in “small bites” so that you can savor the moment. You are intelligent, work well under pressure and people tend to go to you often for advice. Practical and level headed. You only have a small circle of people that you allow yourself to get close to. You tend to be blunt, and can often inadvertently hurt other people’s feelings.  You can be a bit nutty and moody on occasion.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

There’s never a wrong time of year to have a homemade chocolate chip. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing though, as they tend to be very loyal.   They also tend to be generous with their time and money. However, they can be a bit obsessive-compulsive.
