With the recent weddings Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and Princess Eugenie and her beau Jack Brooksbank, there was a lot of speculation about where the newlyweds would go for their royal honeymoon.  Honeymooning like a royal is not just reserved for princesses and princes.   Look for a beautiful, private setting with all the best luxury amenities and you will be honeymooning like a royal, too.

A romantic honeymoon in the Mediterranean is another favorite choice for royal newlyweds.  Hollywood royalty Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III of Monaco took a seven-week Mediterranean cruise on the Prince’s private yacht, staying at the lush Formentor “Royal Hideaway” Hotel in Mallorca.  In 2011, the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, Zara Phillips and her husband escaped to the Mediterranean island of Cyprus for their honeymoon.  There is no shortage of beautiful, secluded islands located in the Mediterranean Sea, and the temperate climate makes it an ideal honeymoon destination.

Alberta, Canada
