Mitt Romney Unlikely to Back Rick Perry or Kay Bailey Hutchison For Texas Governor

Boston, MA – In what is shaping up to be a brutal GOP Gubernatorial Primary election in Texas, the man behind Scott Browns success is unlikely to back either candidate.  Mitt Romney, thru a spokesman, has opted to keep a very low profile in the upcoming Texas Primary.  An endorsement of either candidate is highly unlikely.

He has expressed little interest in getting involved in competitive primaries, many of which have become contentious clashes over the GOP’s direction. Romney is unlikely to pick a side in Senate primaries in Florida or California, or for governor of Texas, according to his spokesman.
