GOP Debate Used to Stifle Ron Paul and Allow Romney to Pine for Attack on Iran and Trade War with China

Let’s Start the Trade War with China

All the GOP candidates, except Ron Paul, begged for war with Iran and a trade war with China.  Perhaps that is why CBS only gave Dr. Paul 90 seconds of speaking time during a 90-minute debate that was primarily used as a means to whip up war fervor and manufacture consent for yet another war without end.  However, like the Chinese proverb says: Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it.

This was exactly the type of corporate media mind-control that continues to prove so effective in manipulating war hysteria of the Iraq War variety that has reduced the middle class by upwards of 20 per cent.  With a war against Iran you can bet the U.S. would lose an additional 30 per cent of its middle class as the war profiteers pining for another unnecessary war again grow exponentially richer.

You can bet with a hot war against Iran that the U.S. would begin a military draft and crack down on dissent to destroy and last remnants and vestiges of constitutional moorings.  A nuclear Iran does not threaten the U.S. and Israeli officials have long admitted a nuclear Iran only threatens Israeli hegemony but in now way would threaten Israeli security.

Now the candidates are using the GOP debates as a means to ratchet up the rhetoric on China’s undervalued yuan while the U.S. continues to debase its own currency.  While China holds a trillion dollars of U.S. debt and is forbidden by the U.S. from using it to buy up U.S. corporations, the U.S. seeks to borrow more money to make up a trillion dollars a year in budgetary shortfall.  Such short-sighted thinking will only ensure a harder crash of the dollar and a radical upswing in interest rates on the bonds that are rolled over to pay interest and principle on old debt.  Instead of threatening China, the U.S ought to be doing everything in its power to ensure interest rates do not rise. 

As the GOP candidates, again except or Ron Paul, beat the war drums, these politicians  keep the American public oblivious to the knowledge that both China and Russia have informed the U.S. it will not be allowed to attack Iran without China and Russia being drawn in to the maelstrom in some manner that would be sure to cause unbearable pain to the U.S. and end its quest for world dominance in manner that would bring the U.S. to the point of collapse.

The media can stifle the warnings of Ron Paul.  It can ignore the reality that is fixing to wreak havoc on this nation and it can encourage people to do the same.  But, what the media and politicians can not do is prevent the consequences of ignoring economic and political reality.  Maybe it is time to shorten the time allowed for demagogues, politicians, stooges for Wall Street, those told to run for office by Jesus and those clamoring for more illegal invasions and begin listening to statesmen who are economists like Ron Paul.  Americans can ignore him all they want, but they do so at the nation’s peril.

Americans ought to become involved in the Wall Street protests and fight the true oppressors, enemies of the U.S. Constitution and tyrants who seek to make us their slaves to be used as fodder in foreign war or to pay our earnings from whatever jobs are left to bankers and war profiteers.
