OBAMA USES GE CAPITAL AS PROXY TO DESTROY SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS

GE Capital has made the decision to halt all funding of gun related industries. [LINK HERE]

We are reminded that similar behaviors in other instances have resulted in immediate intervention by the Justice Department. Take, for example, the cake shop shop  that refused to provide services to a Homosexual couple. The shop was hauled into the public eye, excoriated and virtually destroyed courtesy of Oregon State’s Attorney General.

Some may be convinced there is a difference between GE Capital refusing to provide funds to gun related concerns and a bridal shop refusing to provide service to homosexuals: THERE ARE NONE.  More particularly, since GE Capital’s actions impede on American’s Constitutional rights the Obama administration should be launching a nation-wide push to bring justice to bear. 

Imagine if a major wedding dress manufacturer refused to provide dresses to bridal shops that served homosexual couples. Consider what would happen if lending institutions refused to give money to businesses that support Muslims or minorities…The Justice Department would undertake immediate legal procedures with the full intent of interfering with the right of these businesses to choose whom they want to do business with. These businesses would be dragged through the Justice Department’s Civil Rights division, charged with multiple levels of discrimination and charged with excessive fines. 

By their decision, GE Capital is clearly discriminating against American gun owners. These actions may not be a direct, obvious assault as would be the case if the government publicly ordered lenders to cut funding to gun manufacturers, distributors and sellers. Still, using a private business to act as the government’s proxy is no less destructive and clearly interferes with the Second Amendment rights of ALL citizens.  

We remind readers that GE Capital was the single largest recipient of government bailout funds. GE Capital made billions off the deal – billions that are now being used to insulate the government, and especially the Obama administration, from the liability of interfering with Second Amendment rights.
