Eric Holder abortion ties blind him to billions in Medicaid fraud

ATLANTA — In the sparsely populated Atlanta suburb of College Park, dozens of pro-life activists gathered outside a local gynecologist office Friday afternoon to call out the negligence of one man: United States Attorney General Eric Holder.

The nation’s top prosecutor, they claimed, was not only allowing abortion providers to fraudulently bill the government’s Medicaid program, but he profits from it himself.

The activists held up the findings of a recent Watchdog.org investigation tying Holder’s family to the very building once used as a place of business for abortion doctor Tryone Cecil Malloy, indicted by a Georgia grand jury for Medicaid fraud in 2011.

“It is truly disturbing to discover this blatant and unethical, biased relationship that Eric Holder is involved in,” said Michelle Wolven, the lead investigator and researcher for Eagle Watch, an abortion watchdog group in Dallas, Ga. “It sure seems to me like the controversies surrounding Eric Holder are coming fast and furiously.”

Hoven was joined by a coalition of pro-life activists from the Georgia Right to Life Committee, the Frederick Douglass Foundation, various Atlanta churches and civic groups.

“It kind of upsets folks to see so many blacks and whites standing together for something,” joked Johnny Hunter, national director of the Life Education and Resource Network who also spoke at the press conference. Passing motorists honked in support of the activists as they each took turns with the microphone.

The main speaker was Catherine Davis, founder and president of the National Black Pro-Life Coalition and The Restoration Project, a Stone Mountain, Ga.-based pro-life, pro-family organization.

She first tipped off Watchdog.org that Holder’s wife and sister-in-law held the deed to the property where the notorious Malloy fraudulently billed Medicaid for abortion services.

Holder has yet to release a statement or respond to calls from Davis’ group and Watchdog.org.

“This most recent investigative report highlights once again Mr. Holder’s unwillingness to carry out his constitutional responsibility while benefiting financially and politically,” said Timothy Johnson, founder and president of the Frederick Douglass Foundation, a leading religious conservative think tank.

“I think we really do have a problem with Medicaid being improperly billed. That’s fraud,” Davis told Watchdog.org. “Clearly, they have made it a routine practice.”

“Just next door is a dental office. We have evidence of abortionists billing Medicaid and charging it as a dental visit rather than the abortion so they can continue to get taxpayer money.

“We’ve heard similar stories with Planned Parenthood in Texas and so many other states,” she said.

Davis said this real “war on women” was ravaging low-income communities throughout the country, abetted by Holder’s refusal to prosecute Medicaid fraud.

“It’s been hands off the abortion industry for so long. I’m surprised we didn’t have the dancing vaginas out here like they had at the Republican National Convention, these women who talk about ‘getting hands off my ovaries,’” she said.

“I’m not talking about your ovaries, I’m talking about a practice that is defrauding the American people of multiple millions of dollars each and every year — which now must exceed billions,” said Davis. “In addition to the $457 million that Planned Parenthood gets every year.”

“Something has to change and the attorney general is the one that has the power and the authority to change it immediately, simply by prosecuting these people who are falsely billing the government.”
