Please keep exposing front groups. You might also want to document the Christian fundamentalists who have been trying to “hurry God’s plan” by bringing about the apocalypse in the Middle East. There are several books on the topic that document the twisted, dangerous efforts by their leaders to bring about the end of the world. They were very influential in the Reagan, Bush I and Bush II regimes, and some cabinet officers under Reagan actually were basing policy on “end times” notions. The Christian right still has very strong influence in the military. These people are more dangerous than Muslims in their influence on American policy and the American people, who are obviously easily duped.

More generally, most fundamentalism of any flavor today is intrinsically divisive, even by the most peaceful Christians, Jews, Muslims, Christians or Hindus, because it involves the concept of a chosen people who are special because of their religious choice. In the view of many scholars, fundamentalism is often characterized by an intolerance of other religions and therefore cultures, and this contempt for the humanity of others is a useful tool for their dehumanization in order to launch wars of aggression against them.
