US-Backed Venezuela Opposition Forced Oral Sex In Street, Shooting Protesters, Death Toll Mounts (Raw Video, Photos)

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Brutal, bloody, U.S.-sponsored human rights abuses are ravaging Venezuela streets and democratic government as media remains silent and Human Rights Watch (HRW) helps spread anti-Venezuela government propaganda, instead of disclosing America’s support of violence to repress the poor in the oil-rich nation.

Photos of forced oral sex have been faked in a well-orchestrated anti-Venezuela government campaign.

“I’ve hardly been in office for 10 months and for 10 months this opposition has been plotting to kill me, topple me,” President Maduro said. “For how long is the right wing going to hurt the nation?”

The death coninues to mount in the U.S.-spensored bloodbath. These include people such a 22-year-old female student from the central city of Valencia who died Wednesday from being shot in the head and a local beauty queen, Genesis Carmona, who died of a gunshot wound Wednesday. The numbers of deaths and people tortured after arrested are unknown due to a major media blackout.

Venezuela US-backed bloody human rights abuses blackout

Twitter and Instagrams are fevershly trying to share news with residents more than ever since opposition-controlled media blacked out the chaos. People are also depending on raw videos of the Venezuela bloodbath over the past 48 hours. Some videos show U.S.-backed National Guardsmen shooting tear gas canisters directly into residential buildings and  soldiers shooting civilians on the street

Since Wednesday night, a growing number of panicked Venezuelans have told their stories of state-sponsored paramilitaries on motorcycles roaming middle class neighborhoods, shooting people,  storming into apartment buildings and shooting anyone seeming to be protesting.

People continue to be arrested for protesting, and long-established local Human Rights NGO has made an urgent plea for an investigation into widespread reports of torture of detainees.

San Cristobal, a city of 645,000 inhabitants and the third richest city of Venezuela, has been taken off the Internet amid mounting U.S.-sponsored repression. The U.S.-backed Venezuelan government opposition owns almost all mainstream media in Venezuela

Venezuela is the fourth-largest exporter of oil to the U.S. and has the second largest oil reserves in the world. Among major oil companies, ConocoPhillips and ExxonMobil would benefit greatly from regime change in Venezuela, if a new leadership allowed overseas oil companies to return, analysts were quick to report in March last year after Hugo Chavez’s death.

Chavez nationalized Venezuela’s oil industry in 2007, resulting in ousting those two companies as they were unable to reach a new agreement with the state-owned oil company PDVSA.

High profile US media low-down and dirty tactics to sway public opinion against Venezuela government

An anonymous State Department spokesman last week responded to the Venezuelan protests by expressing concern about government’s “weakening of democratic institutions in Venezuela”, and said that there was an obligation for “government institutions [to] respond effectively to the legitimate economic and social needs of its citizens.”

The Guardian reported afterwards,”He was joining the opposition’s efforts to de-legitimize the government, a vital part of any ‘regime change’ strategy.

Of course we all know who the US government supports in Venezuela. They don’t really try to hide it: there’s $5m in the 2014 US federal budget for funding opposition activities inside Venezuela, and this is almost certainly the tip of the iceberg – adding to the hundreds of millions of dollars of overt support over the past 15 years.

But what makes these current US statements important, and angers governments in the region, is that they are telling the Venezuelan opposition that Washington is once again backing regime change. Kerry did the same thing in April of last year when Maduro was elected president and opposition presidential candidate Henrique Capriles claimed that the election was stolen. Kerry refused to recognize the election results. Kerry’s aggressive, anti-democratic posture brought such a strong rebuke from South American governments that he was forced to reverse course and tacitly recognize the Maduro government. (For those who did not follow these events, there was no doubt about the election results.)

Today, U.S. corporate government-backed opposition leaders in Venezuela have engaged in one of the most dishonest media campaigns, preventing Americans from knowing the truth about what is happening there. In February, this sleazy campaign stooped as low as doctoring photographs from a pornographic video showing Venezuela police forcing civilians to give fellatio and oral sex to them and circulating these, aided by Al Jazeera and other high-profile U.S. controlled opposition groups.

Opposition forces are using “doctored images and false stories” to depict Venezuela’s government as an authoritarian regime using brutal violence against unarmed civilian protesters.

“Unflattering pictures of Argentine, Brazilian, Bulgarian, Chilean, Egyptian, Greek, and Singaporean police and military forces in crowd control mode and anti-protest operations have been circulated through mass communication and social media by Venezuelan opposition forces as actions taking place in Venezuela during February 2014,” says Mahdi Darius Nazemroaya reporting for Global Research.

Worse than unflattering, the anti-government photo campaign even includes pictures of government supporters hurt by opposition supporters and an edited photograph from a homosexual pornography video where police are forcing a civilian to give them fellatio or oral sex, circulated by the anti-Chavez actress Amanda Gutierrez as the brutal group of government riot police rape an unarmed anti-government protester in Caracas.

Al Jazeera’s recent report on the violence in Venezuela is clearly U.S.-backed opposition biased.

Al Jazeera isn’t the only media feeding the public US propaganda.

Also aiding the U.S. propaganda campaign is Time, that  reports ”regime-supporting paramilitary gangs known as colectivos have been seen swooping into neighborhoods and public squares on their motorbikes, firing live rounds at those gathered within,” rather than showing the paramilitary gangs are U.S. supported thugs.

Of course, American right-wing organizations mimic anti-Venezuela government propaganda.

For example, The Heritage Foundation tweeted Friday morning: “Understanding Venezuela’s Pro-Freedom Marches: Democracy Rekindled? For weeks, Venezuela has been overcome by peaceful student-led protests. After a decade and a half of government abuses, skyrocketing inflation rates, and significant losses of political and economic…”

U.S. geoplolitical aim

Failing to win Venezuela’s elections over the past few years, mainstream opposition leaders are resorting to what reporter Mahdi Darius Nazemroaya calls “a Ukraine-style disruption strategy.”

U.S.-backed opposition leaders’ aim in Venezuela is to create political crisis in Caracas by instigating protesters into taking steps geared at toppling the Venezuelan government. Just as violence and bloodshed were instigated by armed gunmen among the US-supported opposition to justify the 2002 coup, the same methodology is in progress today.

Video evidence shows at least one armed gunman instigating violence during the protests. Footage from Caracas clearly shows thuggery and anti-government forces instigating violence and chaos. Unarmed bystanders and civil servants have been attacked, including people in vehicles belonging to the public transportation system. This is also the same ilk that attacked public hospitals and clinics in 2013 to disrupt daily life in Venezuela after democratically elected Maduro took over.

“The same opposition leaders and their foreign supporters are using the cover of the undeniable misgivings about rising crime rates, political corruption, and economic turmoil in Venezuela as a disguise for what is essentially looking like an attempted coup,” reports Nazemroaya. “The socio-economic misgivings of a segment of the population are being used as a pretext to legitimize street action and violence aimed at toppling the government.”

“It is ironic that many of those opposing the Venezuelan government in the name of democracy, equality, and security were once supporters of autocratic and openly corrupt governments before the Chavez era.”

Democratic actions are more alive in Venezuela than in the U.S., a threat to American Full Spectrum Dominance imperialism.

“Despite their short comings, the governing United Socialist Party of Venezuela and its political allies have one of the most democratic mandates in the world,” says Nazemroaya, giving the example of fair voting. Caracas government “has much more democratic legitimacy than the governments in countries like Britain, Canada, France, and the United States, which portray themselves as champions and models of democracy.

How many times have Americans been afforded the opportunity to go to the polls to vote on major issues?

“On any occasion where constitutional issues or major issues involving Venezuela’s political structures were being contemplated, the government and governing party let the Venezuelan voters make the decisions…”

The governing United Socialist Party and its coalitions have gone to the polls more times and for more issues than any of the current governments in Britain, Canada, France, or the US.

About US-supported Venezuela opposition trying to overthrow Venezuelan government and control it, Nazemroaya says:

It does not care about democracy or what the majority of Venezuelan citizens want. Where the mainstream opposition leaders have failed to get popular support or to win via the ballot box, they have used trickery and every option available to them for taking over the South American country. This includes the use of force, instigation of violence, attempted coups, intense propaganda campaigns, continuous collusion with the US government, and deliberate price hikes.

Human Righs Watch shows true colors of controlled opposition yet again

After Governor Capriles was defeated, he instigated his followers into igniting street violence while US-based Human Rights Watch HRW), a mouthpiece for the U.S. administration, totally ignored Capriles’ and opposition’s role played. Instead, HRW criticized Venezuela’s government, as the U.S. corporate government desires.

HRW actually had this to say about the street violence that MUD leaders had started:  “Under the leadership of President Chavez and now President Maduro, the accumulation of power in the executive branch and the erosion of human rights guarantees have enabled the government to intimidate, censor, and prosecute its critics.”

“Not once were the violent actions taken by the mainstream opposition or the corruption of their leaders in the states or municipalities that they administer ever mentioned by HRW,” Nazemroaya says.

Leaders of Venezuela chaos Carpiles and Lopez

“Governor Capriles and the leaders of the mainstream Venezuelan opposition have deliberately been trying to instigate violence and a loss of human life as a tactic to delegitimize the Venezuelan government and to justify the mainstream opposition’s strategy to work outside of any democratic framework.

Leader of today’s anti-government protests in Venezuela, Leopoldo Lopez Mendoza is a former Petroleum of Venezuela (Petróleos de Venezuela) employee, S.A. (PDVSA) and former mayor of Chacao. He’s from one of Venezuela’s wealthiest families.

Lopez’s family is part of the anti-Chavez oligarchy that once ruled Venezuela like some sort of personal estate. As a result of corruption charges, he was banned from running for public office until 2014. As far as the bloody chaos in Caracas today goes, Nazemroaya says, “2014 has arrived and now Leopoldo Lopez is up to his old tricks of instigation.

“Lopez’s supporters have attacked government officials and offices with baseball bats and Molotov cocktails and done everything possible to instigate fighting with the clear aim, as Lopez himself describes, of making the Venezuelan government collapse.”

Lopez was arrested and held Wednesday at Ramo Verde jail in Caracas, due for a first court hearing. Most serious charges against him were then dropped, but he still faces 10 years in prison

The US government hands in oil-rich Venezuela anti-government protests and riots, just like in anti-government protests and violence in the Ukraine and Syria.

The US Embassy has continuously coordinated with Venezuela government’s opposition to overthrow of the government in Caracas. Nazemroaya said, ”Just like in the case of Ukraine, the US government has promoted opposition leadership and made biased statements in their favor.”

For over the years, the US government has repeatedly lied by referring to Venezuela as a dictatorship and the nation’s mainstream opposition as disenfranchised democrats, a lie supported by media and Human Rights Watch.

It cannot be emphasized enough that the aim is to increase political chaos and to disrupt Venezuela’s political stability to create a vacuum to justify acting outside the democratic framework of elections.

Objectives of Venezuela’s oligarchs controlling the opposition are not to establish a just society or weed out corruption and crime.

“Their objectives are to reassert and entrench their privileged positions in Venezuelan society,” Nazemroaya says, “and to undo the reforms that Hugo Chavez enacted to help the poor in Venezuela.”

Another example of how mainstream media continues to sway public opinion for support to overcome nations far more democratic then the US. Venezuela is critical geopolitically for the US agenda.

This is absolutely disgusting what’s going on and that photo of what the police are doing or whoever is portraying police officers is very sad and it makes me so mad. This motivates me to look for a positive way I can affect positive change whatever way I can. God please look after that mans soul.

Thank you for reading and commenting. Yes, the dirtiest dirty tricks, yet, to sway public opinion against Venezuela. If Clinton is elected, we can expect far worse, as she showed with Libya she’s capable.

All the best on affecting positive change wherever you can. I have a feeling you already do that.

It’s very hard for those BIN readers who are right-wing porn thrill seekers to understand that the real global conspiracy they should fear is the one that’s in plain sight: the megacorporations and the one percent who are their only benefactors.

There are many other reputable sources documenting the attempt by the oligarchy to regain the reins of power in Venezuela, so readers shouldn’t think Nazemroaya is the only one. The battle between the oligarchies and the people have raged since the original colonization of Latin America, and (surprise!) the same is true of the US and Canada.

The victims are the 99%, many of whom still confuse socialism with communism. Socialism in principle is closer to democracy than the US government, which supports right-wing dictatorships. Of course, any form of government is vulnerable to serious abuses if the people don’t maintain control like the people of Venezuela are trying to do – and the people of the US are not.

      • Deborah Dupre

Mr. Brown – Your comment does not only applies to the head of the avg. American.

Yes, Nazemroaya was quoted most as his story is news today, he’s one of my most trusted sources, and his analysis of geopolitical matters exceeds that of most I know.

Agreed, its is the 99% who are victims there – but have no idea what you mean about the 99% confusing socialism with communism. I think Venezuelans have a much better understanding of the difference than fear-driven Americans. Unfortunately, that fear and paranoia about socialism seems to be paramount in the thinking of too many people in the states.

Thank you. As always, you shed needed light on these important issues that are difficult for many to confront, debate and thus, learn about.

        • Paul Brown

I just meant that many of the 99% have been duped by right-wing, corporate-controlled elements, especially in the US. Keep up the good work.
