Election 2014: 6 Senate Seats That Spell Doom For Obama Inc.

The November Midterms are coming fast, and as summer days give way to the fall, so too will voters’ attention refocus on the task at hand – making Barack Obama and his fellow Democrats accountable for the still struggling economy and America’s foreign relations fiascoes.  To do so will require a majority of the following six up-for-grabs Senate seats to go Republican…

Let’s get right to it – here are the six:

Alaska, Arkansas, Iowa, Louisiana, North Carolina, and Colorado.

In Alaska, Democratic Sen. Mark Begich has to date been able to sit back and watch a batch of Republican opponents slug it out to see who gets on the ticket in November. That primary battle has finally resulted in a GOP winner - state Attorney General Dan Sullivan.  The Sullivan camp has ground to make up, but money is now pouring into his campaign, and anti-Obama sentiment runs strong in Alaska, making the race a good prospect for Republicans.

Internal polling indicates the Arkansas battle is not quite as close as the mainstream polls indicate.  Republican challenger Tom Cotton is said to have a major factor on his side – momentum. And while Democrat Mark Pryer is a tough campaigner, and enjoys a strong base of support in the state, as a whole, Arkansas wants Barack Obama gone, and Pryer appears to be voters’ choice to indirectly make that happen.

The Iowa race is already swinging in Republican Joni Ernst’s favor.  Her opponent’s campaign has attempted to portray her as “too conservative” but Iowa voters for the most part seem to think “too conservative” is “just fine” in this Age of Obama…
