Two No DAPL Phenomenal Photos Prove Shameless Pro-Genocide Media Blackout Conspiracy

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

This needs to go viral today, as protesters assert. The “No Dakota Access Pipeline” (#NoDAPL) protest is such a huge historical event, demonstrating solidarity against dirty fossil fuel industry profiteers’ genocide, that helps fund corporate-governmentt media, it is no surprise America’s primary mind-control tool, mainstream media, is conducting an equally massive black-out of the demonstration.

The photo featured here (above) proves just how gigantic this protest is, and how equally gigantic the black-out is, despite media knowing this event is the largest native American gathering in over 100 years, militarized police and FEMA removed all drinking water from the protest grounds and made mass arrests at gunpoint with semi-automatic rifles.

I just Googled “dakota access pipeline” and found an industry-biased editorial by Fox News and a very short squib by Yahoo. The Wall Street Journal presents the view of the owner of the company building the pipeline: “Chief executive says he plans to meet with U.S. officials and plays down threat to environment.” The corporate media do not describe the ultimate effects of burning that oil, which would be comparable to the Keystone pipeline, nor do they describe the huge attendance at the protest and the hundreds of protest around the world in solidarity. Some corporate media sources have claimed the demonstration at the construction site has turned violent, which was only true after police used violent methods. None of them describe the broader issues regarding climate change and the creation of sacrifice zones where oil extraction, transport, and refining take place. No mention is made of the tie to the “KeepItInTheGround movement, which is very important.

The New York Times has several articles on the protest, as did the Washington Post. However, they propagated a number of falsehoods from the private security company and law enforcement. They did not provide good coverage of the broader movement, but they did provide a lot of space for the claims of the pipeline company and their cronies. They mentioned the support from Bernie Sanders and Jiill Stein, but provided as little background as possible.

The Des Moines Register has an article on how the local economy is boosted for the short time the pipeline is under construction. No discussion of water issues, although it does mention efforts by land owners to fight eminent domain and renewable energy advocates’ arguments that Iowa would benefit much more from investment in renewables (they have lots of wind and sun).

The Atlantic, a magazine with less audience than TV and newspapers, has had good coverage, as have a few educational sites and many non-corporate Web sites. The Guardian, a UK newspaper has provided excellent coverage and a broader view of the situation.

An even broader view has to do with the suppression of democracy in America. Knowledge is being censored, to be replaced with distortions and outright lies. Even Web blogs are saturated with corporate/government lies. The people don’t know where to turn for dependable information. This is perfect for the consolidation of a totalitarian state.

This is a photo of Woodstock-the Standing Rock camp in North Dakota is on flat ground and nowhere near this many people. It would be good if people showed up in these kind of numbers to fight for clean water and to protest the destruction of natural places and sacred sites.
