There is a lot to say about the elections going on in the USA this year, however, I have been watching with keen interest how much God influences it and how it breaks new grounds in the things of God.
The U.S. presidential campaign and elections of 2016 has broken all kinds of records especially as pertains to Christianity. In the previous 30 years, only 2 previous party nominees and presidents were, or claimed to be Born Again Christians: Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama. This year there is; 1 preacher, two sons of preachers, 4 Born Again Christians, 5 devout Christians, and 3 other strong or nominal Christians.
Not in recent history do I remember the Bible being brandished (positively) in a major presidential campaign and or on national TV. This year at my last count a Bible has been brought to the podium 12 times including one that was autographed by a world renowned Evangelist.
Furthermore, I don’t remember in my lifetime any scriptural passage being quoted repeatedly during a presidential campaign and on national TV. Recently the world got exposed to 2nd Peter even though Mr. Trump called it “2 Peter” and also 1st John 4. The letter he has recited or read during his campaign or on live TV at least 5 times.
This year’s election has seen a record number of Evangelicals voting probably helping both Ted Cruise and Trump attain the number of votes they did in the primaries. Trump has gone on to become the nominee with most votes of any republican presidential candidate in history.
No presidential circle has had more involvement of clergymen than this year’s election Mr. Obama’s election in 2008 saw the direct and indirect involvement of over 100 clergymen. That then was a record-breaking number Mr. Trump has however had close to 700 clergymen involved with his campaign and or election compared to a little over 50 on Hillary’s side.
I count about 4 prophecies (positive and negative) concerning the presidency of Hilary Clinton from before 2015 and 5 prophecies (all positive) of a Mr. Trump presidency.
Following their respective announcements for their presidential bids I counted another 5 prophecies (positive and negative) for Mrs. Clinton and another 11 (positive and negative) for a Mr. Trump presidency. Lance Wallnau, Rick Joyner, Jeremiah Johnson, Kat Kerr, John Paul Jackson, Paula White and Mark Taylor’s Prophecy can all be seen online.
