New Poll Could Spell Trouble for Democrat Ossoff in Georgia Special Election

The Democratic Party’s hopes of manufacturing the narrative that the voters have turned against President Donald Trump is currently hanging by a thread in Georgia’s 6^th Congressional District.

Last week Democrats were jubilant as an Atlanta Journal-Constitution poll showed inept and inexperienced Star Wars geek Jon Ossoff roaring out to a seven-point lead over GOP opponent Karen Handel.

The left’s pouring of millions of dollars into the district to prop up their miserable excuse for a candidate seemed to be finally paying off until a more recent poll delivered a punch to the gut for Democrats.

With the special election runoff only a week away, the poll by SurveyUSA is now showing that the candidates are neck and neck, not good news for Ossoff who has dropped seven points in a week.

According to Politico “Poll: Georgia special election tied”:

A new SurveyUSA poll for 11Alive in Atlanta found that Democrat Jon Ossoff and Republican Karen Handel are tied at 47 percent in Georgia’s special House election, one week from Election Day.

Another 6 percent of voters are still undecided in the poll, as Ossoff and Handel jockey to replace HHS Secretary Tom Price in Congress. Most recent public polling has shown Ossoff with a slight lead, but both candidates insist that this race is “neck and neck,” as Ossoff said this weekend.

Ossoff leads among young people by a 3-to-2 margin and among newcomers to the state. Handel leads by the same 3-to-2 margin among seniors and longtime Georgia residents.

There is no way to overstate how important that this race is for Democrats in terms of the 2018 midterms. It is absolutely critical to produce the “evidence” that Trump is being rejected in Republican districts that their winged monkeys in the media can hype ad nauseum.

The party has squandered the seven months since Hillary Clinton’s shocking election loss by neglecting to run on any actual issues. Instead, they have danced the jig in their tinfoil hats braying hysterical nonsense in an effort to nullify the legitimacy of the election based on evidence-free accusations that Putin and Trump collaborated to cheat poor Hillary.

Fortunately for the Democrats, liberals are more concerned with identity politics and conspiracy theories about Russia and too stricken with Trump Derangement Syndrome to notice the absence of any semblance of a policy but on the flip side, they will have to appeal to conservative voters next year as well.

The party is all-in with the Georgia 6^th District, they have already struck out twice in Kansas and Montana and another loss will retire the side – maybe for good.

It may come as a shock to the Democratic Party leadership but real Americans are more concerned with jobs, affordable healthcare and lower taxes. Nobody’s belly is going to be filled or their lot in life improved by Trump-Kremlin conspiracy theories.
