Taxpayers Are Mortified To Hear Of This Governmental Subsidy for Farms, But Applaud Subsidies for Planned Parenthood

In complete disbelief this morning, I suffered through a commercial on YouTube, from the Humane Farming Association. In this 1:46 minute video, many questions were posed to taxpayers on the street, by a guy dressed in an “Uncle Sam” outfit, waiving a bucket that read “Tax Money for Dead Livestock.”

The advertisement, starts out with the top hat wearing “Uncle Sam” stating, “Collecting tax money for dead livestock, any money you can give.”

The screen cuts to big, bold block-letters that read “EVERY YEAR, TAXPAYERS GIVE THE GOVERNMENT MILLIONS OF DOLLARS…” Later in the short advertisement, it continues with “…TO REIMBURSE LIVESTOCK PRODUCERS WHOSE ANIMALS DIE FROM SEVERE NEGLECT.”

The video continues on with “Uncle Sam” asking people: “You pay taxes, right?” and then again asks for “tax money for dead livestock.” He reiterates the message of taxpayer dollars going to farms that neglect their animals and informs people that the government is giving these abusive producers their hard-earned tax dollars.

A lady asks, “A subsidy?”

“Uncle Sam” replies, “Yes, a subsidy.” The screen image cuts to him in front of a McDonald’s, were he continues to state, “Livestock producers leave their animals out in the cold… in extreme heat…they don’t provide the most basic shelter…they’re left out to suffocate and die.”

A man asks, “And they’re getting paid for that?”

“Uncle Sam” responds, “With your tax dollars.”

People were obviously mortified to hear this, and responded with, “That’s insane.” “That’s absolutely terrible.” “I didn’t know that man. That’s really messed up.”

Why is it that liberal snowflakes are so mortified that governmental subsidies may have been given to farmers that engage in animal cruelty, but become absolutely triggered when you ask the same questions regarding abortion and governmental subsidies?

What if the commercial read something more like this…

“EVERY YEAR, THE TAXPAYERS GIVE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT MILLIONS OF DOLLARS…TO REIMBURSE PLANNED PARENTHOOD FOR ABORTION SERVICES, WHERE PRENATAL CARE IS ALMOST NON-EXISTENT, AND WHERE BABIES GO TO DIE EXTREMELY PAINFUL AND TORTUROUS DEATHS.”

“PLANNED PARENTHOOD LEAVES THE BABIES OF FAILED ABORTIONS OUT TO DIE IN TRASHCANS, AND IGNORES STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE, AT THE RISK OF HURTING THE MOTHER, TO SELL BABY BODY PARTS–IN EXCHANGE FOR CASH AND CARS.”

The interviewed taxpayers were visibly upset in this video, after “Uncle Sam” told them that in the last three years, “over 134 million dollars” in governmental subsidies went out to these farms; but when $528.4 million in governmental subsidies were given to Planned Parenthood in the fiscal year of 2013-14 alone, people stand up and applaud.

Even though I agree that animals should not be neglected or abused, I am completely dumbfounded that people value the life of animals, over the precious lives of our unborn children.

The argument of “a woman’s right to choice” is entirely invalid. What if we applied that same line of reasoning to the farm animals in the aforementioned adversitement, and said that is a “Farmer’s right to choice” to abuse animals?

Sounds kinda’ stupid when you put it that way, huh?

Dear American Politicians,

STOP SPENDING MY HEARD EARNED TAX DOLLARS ON ABORTION… or you’re fired. It’s that simple. We voted you in, we can vote your useless butts out.
