Members of Congress announced Tuesday that they would conduct two probes into the Clinton email investigation conducted by the FBI. Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-SC) and Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) announced in a joint statement they are opening their inquiries due to their dissatisfaction with how former FBI Director James Comey handled the investigation. “Our justice system is represented by a blind-folded woman holding a set of scales,” Goodlatte and Gowdy said in their statement. “Those scales do not tip to the right or the left; they do not recognize wealth, power, or social status.
