Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was crucified by the left after he emphatically stated that any player on his team who disrespected the flag would be benched. For his words, Jones was decried as a slave owner, a white supremacist and other assorted pejoratives by the kneelers and their amen chorus in the media. This week’s big summit between the NFL owners and representatives of the cult of Kaepernick ended with Commissioner Roger Goodell throwing Jones under the bus by refusing to make it mandatory for players to stand for the national anthem. That gutless cave-in will now open the floodgates of players that want to stick it to their employers because the league and the media have their backs.
