CALAMITY CENTRAL: Mega Tsunami
Scientists at the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics, University of California at Santa Cruz have said that geological evidence suggests that during a future eruption, the Cumbre Vieja volcano may experience a catastrophic failure of its west flank, dropping 150 to 500 km of rock into the ocean. They’ve modeled the resulting tsunami that would be generated as capable of crossing the entire Atlantic Basin and arriving on the eastern coast of the Americas at a height of 10 to 25 miles.
Among the most spectacular natural events known, the historical record shows that these lateral collapses have indeed happened in the recent past off the flanks of Hawaii. They estimate underwater speeds of 140 to 450 miles per hour.
It is estimated that these kinds of events occured during previous crossings of Planet X, Nibiru, which appear to happen every 3657 years; this is how long its elliptical orbit takes it to once again come near earth.
Cumbre Vieja has been the most active volcano in the Canary Islands. and forms one third of the island of La Palma, rising 2 km above sea level with average slopes of 15 to 20 degrees.
