This story I call “The Syrian War” was sent to me just this morning by a friend in the Middle East. This story below is from a Syrian woman who grew up in war torn Lebanon and raised there during The Civil War from 1973 to 1984.
I will say before I go on that I believe her and because of that I am sickened at the suffering as well as waste and free reign of the criminals and their ongoing criminal acts against innocence.
I am keeping this introduction short because I am hoping after you read it, you will know what I am feeling and thinking on this one.
I have colored some of the text to point out some of the key statements of facts The story begins,
“Some people say, there was a “civil war” going on in Syria – initiated by protests against the regime. This is a lie. and it has already proved being a lie for about 19 months.
Why do I want to focus on this?
I am Syrian citizen, living in Syria. I was born 1973 in Tyre (Sour) / Lebanon and raised in Lebanon during the civil war from 1973 to 1984. War in Lebanon started in 1975 when I had been 2 years old, so I became eye-witness to this war for about 9 years. And, yes, that was a war of different interest groups fighting each other and together fighting the Lebanese nation. A civil war orchestrated and funded by Israel, the USA, Europe and other parties.
This is to ensure you: I know very well what a CIVIL WAR is like.
In Syria, the people stand with the army. Our soldiers are fighting FOREIGN INSURGENTS, armed, funded, instructed and politically supported by the USA, EU and Arab Dictatorships. Even the so-called ‘start’, a media lie about youth protests in Dara’a (southern Syria) did not lead to any “civil war”.
The protest was local and about special interests, some of them related to tribal or clan issues. This protest was real – and it was managed to be peacefully calmed by the government. The government managed to calm the protest and resolve the crisis completely by negotiations about the demands and interests. The protest had been completely finished – when al.Qaeda-linked terrorists groups infiltrated and shot at Syrian soldiers and officials, killing some of them.
So, please recognize that IT HAS NEVER BEEN AN ‘UNREST’ BY THE PEOPLE Get that!
Protesters who gathers outside mosques and called for Assad to resign and – soon – for violence, had been organized and funded by al.Qaeda-linked groups – we call them the payed weekend-protesters – and laughed about them. They are stupid people, yelling slogans for money. Even at this time, the western secret services had been interfering in Syria to inflame the protest and make it a civil war. This attempt did fail completely. The crisis had been resolved.
So, please do not talk about “civil war” – unless you want to be named a liar. There is NO CIVIL WAR in Syria,
There is a very bloody proxy war of skilled mercenaries on western and Arab payroll, killing Syrian civilians and committing war crimes.
Please mind the difference I tried to make clear – thank you.”

I always kind of liked Assad. He seemed like a more Western orientated individual in a land of fundmentalist Islamists. If you look at who has replaced the various governments that the Obama administration has helped to topple, they have all been fundentalist Islamists, primarily The Isalmic Brotherhood, which is also very heavily connected inside the Whitehouse. One of the few who have not been toppled in this sweep is Syria. As much of a threat as Putin’s Russia represents to us and the West, I have to agree with them on this one. Assad may not be an ideal leader but he is far better than the Islamic Caliphate that will replace him!
