What makes this even more disgusting, there is a 380 acre plot of land that was donated to and supposed to be a permanent home for any veteran who ever needed shelter. The ACLU filed a lawsuit because the government was not only renting out parts of this land to Marriott as an ancillary cleaning facility for their dirty laundry, they decided to not allow veterans to live there. There was also a car rental facility that was using a portion as well. On March 16, 2012, there was supposed to be a ruling stated the link on the ACLU website… Yeah, that would be a blank page. I have since visited on March 16, 2013 to see what was the truth. It turns out that the Government allows one building (#212) to be a place for roughly 100 beds and offers about a one week stay for one of the 20,000 veterans and then they can’t come back and try for shelter for another 30 days..
