Syrian "Rebels" Fake Gas Attacks To Manipulate US Into Syrian War

by Monica Davis

Is the US looking for another war? We’re taking our lethal toys out of Afghanistan (allegedly, just as we removed them from Iraq (supposedly). And many don’t want to see the Americans leave with their toys—even if they have to fake attaks to keep US forces trapped in the area.

Unfortunately, all is not as it seems. As I wrote before, Afghanistan has been swallowing would be invaders for longer than the US has existed.

As other invaders have before, the US military is about to pick up its tired toys and go home, just as invaders have done in Afghanistan for the past two thousand years. How do we think we can pacify a region that gave Alexander the Great nightmares?

And, as it has for the past two thousand years, Afghanistan will eventually go back to being what it has been for two millenia: a tribal based, insular mountain region, guided by warlords and chieftans.MOREHERE

Now, what is really going on?  Syrian army units claim they have suffered some kind of chemical/gas attack. They have reportedly encountered a substance in one Syrian neighborhood that causes suffocation.

A number of soldiers have suffered from cases of suffocation while entering Joubar neighborhood in Damascus countryside on Saturday as armed terrorist groups used chemical weapons, an official source announced on Saturday.

The source added in a statement to SANA that the staffs of emergency have rescued the soldiers with suffocation cases, indicating that “some of the injured are in a critical condition.” MOREHERE

Source say as many as 322 rebel fighters and civlians may have dIed in Wednesday’s attack:

The 2013 Ghouta attacks were a series of chemical attacks that occurred on Wednesday, 21 August 2013, in the Ghoutaregion of the Rif Dimashq Governorate of Syria. Opposition sources gave a death toll of 322[1] to 1,729.[7] According to theSyrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), which gave the lowest estimate of 322 killed,[1] 46 of the dead were rebel fighters.[9] The attacks have so far not been independently confirmed due to difficulty of movement on the ground,[10] and the Syrian government denied that chemical attacks occurred.[11] If confirmed, it would be the deadliest chemical attack since the Halabja poison gas attack in 1988.[12][13] MOREHERE

Rebels are allegedly faking chemical attacks to prompt the US to pony up weapons.

Syrian rebels understand that under all possible U.S. policies, faking chemical weapons attacks can get them guns, while shifting to nonviolent resistance can only get them as ignored asBahrain. (Ba-who?) MOREHERE

Just who is attacking who? Government soldies claim they have been targeted by chemical weapons in Damascus. Rebels may be faking chemical attacks against themselves. And here comes Uncle Sam in his flaming chariot, ready to stir the pot.
