Killing Syrian Children For Pro-War Propaganda Video, The 'Worst War Crime'

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Every child has rights as a human being and also needs special care and protection, according to UNICEF, but among other violations of the Rights of the Child, Syrian children have been used in war propaganda, the worst of war crimes, even killed by lethal injection. (Photo Credit: UNICEF)

A documentary with the Al Jazeera logo on it graphically shows horrors of an alleged August 21 chemical weapon attack in Al Ghout near Damascas, the dead, dying and wailing Syrian survivors, including a very small girl screaming “Damn!” at Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad, as though coached, in which case, a violation of the Convention of the Rights of the Child.  Equally grave, the “documentary” is a prime example of the war propaganda. According to international law, war propaganda is the worst crime, a crime against peace that enables perpetrating other crimes, including crimes against humanity, according to Voltaire Network on Friday.

In a highly emotionally charged video report, the type the U.S. is using to justify its drive to attack Syria, a child is among those blaming Assad, and slain rebels are termed “martyrs’ but not slain government forces. The report thus elicits support for Obama’s illegal war plan against Syria’s government and possible assassination of Assad, as the U.S. has perpetrated i in the last countries it attacked in the Middle East and Africa.

While it is unknown at this time if Al Jazeera really produced this particular video (below) with its logo on it, this type of reporting is nothing new for Al Jazeera nor other western media.

It might, however, be new to whomever really produced the report to be questioned about possibly violating the Convention of the Rights of the Child through war propaganda.

As the Syrian crisis enters its third year, the world must not forget the human realities at stake, says UNICEF, especially the reality of children suffering and being killed in the conflict for political gain through videoed propaganda.

Al Jazeera supporting Obama-backed rebels’ atrocities and U.S. war crimes

In the documentary with Al Jazeera’s logo on it, the viewer sees and hears Syrians yelling at Assad for the atrocity. Among those, who somehow already knew who to blame for the attack, was a very small child.

The documentary text summary on YouTube reads:

Warning: This video contains horrifying scenes and we don’t recommend it for weak hearted people. This scene is just to document the crimes that are being committed by Bashar al-Assad and his regime. It is not to shock our viewers or to encourage violence; we just want to document what is happening in Syria.

The above shows whomever posted the YouTube has clearly taken sides, the pro-Obama war on Syria side.

“Oh Bashar God damn you!” says a little crying girl, appearing to be approximately four or five-years old.

“God damn you Bashar!” she repeats through her crying.

That scene lasts ten seconds, with “God damn you Bashar! God damn Bashar!” screened a full ten seconds.

(See 4:30 through 4:40 minutes in the report below.)

How did a 3-year old know the Syrian government’s leader was responsible for the mysterious attack — unless coached?

That child somehow knew what no reputable legal or human rights body knew. The attack had just occurred, according to how the footage appears to the viewer.

Would any major news media “coach” its interview subjects? Al Jazeera would — and has, according to leaked emails and the Lebanese newspaper, As-Saffir.

According to Bloomberg News, the Lebanese newspaper As-Safir cited interviews showing that Al Jazeera staff coached Syrian eyewitnesses and fabricated reports of oppression by Syria’s government

Leaked internal e-mails suggest that Al-Jazeera has become subordinated to the Qatari emir’s assertive foreign policy supportive of Obama-backed Syrian rebels and advocating Obama-led military intervention in the country.

Human dignity, respect for a child’s views: The law under Rights of the Child Convention

Built on legal systems and cultural traditions, the Convention of the Rights of the Child is a universally agreed set of non-negotiable standards and obligations.

The four core principles of the legally binding Convention of the Rights of the Child are non-discrimination; devotion to the best interests of the child; the right to life, survival and development; and respect for the views of the child, according to UNICEF.

Were views of the child in the Al Jazeera video report respected? Not if she was coached.

“Every right spelled out in the Convention is inherent to the human dignity and harmonious development of every child,” UNICEF says.

“By agreeing to undertake the obligations of the Convention (by ratifying or acceding to it), national governments have committed themselves to protecting and ensuring children’s rights and they have agreed to hold themselves accountable for this commitment before the international community.

“State parties to the Convention are obliged to develop and undertake all actions and policies in the light of the best interests of the child.”

In August, the number of Syrian children forced to flee their homeland as refugees reached one million.

Meddling with each and every detail of Syrian reports

Al-Jazeera has been criticized over unfair coverage of the Syrian civil war since the conflict began.

It’s been described as largely supportive of the Obama-supported rebels, while demonizing the Syrian government, easy to see in its long report on the chemical attack (below).

In March 2012, three Al Jazeera correspondents resigned due to objections over the channel’s Syrian conflict reporting.

Al Jazeera paid $50,000 to smuggle phones and satellite communication tools to (Obama-backed) Syria’s rebels, according to the correspondents.

“The channel was taking a certain stance,” concluded one of the three correspondents, Hashim.  ”It was meddling with each and every detail of reports on the Syrian revolution.”

Ahmad Ibrahim is in charge of Al-Jazeera’s coverage on Syria. His brother is a leader of the rebels’ Syrian National Council.

Al-Jazeera reportedly pressured its journalists to use the term “martyr” for slain Syrian rebels, but not for slain pro-government forces, according to Wikipedia. Note this “martyr” usage in Al Jazeera’s recent coverage of the August 21 massacre.

Other western service fabrications of chemical attack

“The Western secret services are 100% sure of things that aren’t logical,’ stated Voltaire Network’s Thierry Meyssan this week.

Meysann risked his life reporting on the illegal U.S. war of aggression against Libya. He was trapped in a small space in hiding there for days after the Obama administration called for the killing of all non-mainstream journalists there, to hide the U.S.-led abuses.

Now reporting on the Syrian crisis, with many of the same manufactured terrorism hallmarks, Mesann lists five major ways western “intelligence” agents have demonized Assad.

1. They think combat gases can differentate between men and women. (Only two women were killed in the alleged August 21 attack.)

2. For four days, US intelligence assets say they observed while the Syrians made the combat gases concoction, but did nothing to intervene to prevent the extremists using it. “On the other hand, they stepped forward to suggest punishing the ones who used it.”

3. They explain that the children were killed on the 21st of August, while the video is dated from before that, and these children come from families that support the Syrian regime and Bashar el-Assad’s government.

4. They assure they possess telephone call recordings, but deny they were the ones who intercepted those telephone calls.

5. “And finally, the ‘red line’’ affair,” says Meyssan. According to the joint committee of British Intelligence service spokesperson Jon Day, Syria supposedly used combat gas 14 times in the past, although never confirmed. Why 14 times? Because that’s the the number of times the US government had use of chemical weapons in Iraq, in 2003-2004. “And, of course, it would only be the 15th time of use that would lead the punishment exerted by the great powers.”

Children poisoned intravaneously in front of cameras for war propaganda to justify Obama attacking Syria

Meyssan notes in his report on manufacturing the chemical attack, that the West leans solely on videos to prove veracity of the facts regarding the chemical attack. In the videos however, almost no one agrees on the number of victims. From what the US document says, there over 100 victims were counted, whereas the French claims 47, he says.

The videos that America and French governments are using to validate the August 21 massacre are not even footage of that date, Meysaan highlights: ”When we look at these videos, we can notice that some of them are previous to the massacre.”

These videos were posted onto YouTube on August 20th, that “could be on the eve of the massacre, but not necessarily when you take into account the time change of 9 hours between Syria and California, where the Youtube server is,” Meyssan says. “However, you can clearly see that the outside scenes are filmed during the time where the sun is at its highest. So, it was filmed around noon and can’t possibly have been recorded before that date.

“And yet, these are the unproven facts that the US and French government are relying on,” he remarks.

Aside from two exceptions, no women were among the officially announced victims. Of the alleged 1,429 official victims, only 2 are women, as Meysann explains in the video report below.

“It would be the first time that a gas would discriminate individuals according to their gender,” he says.

The video propaganda production included using children, even more so than noted above regarding the child yelling, “Damn Bashar!”

In Near-Eastern culture, a body is never left unaccompanied, “even more so when they are children,” Meyssan explains. “But these children are without parents.

Then, we can see them in the hands of people that are presented as medical staff, trying to save them. But it is hard to deduce what exactly the staff is doing. In fact, their is a simple reason : these children are not victims of a chemical attack.

“These are children that were kidnapped two weeks previous, in the beginning of August, in the Latakia region, 200 km away from the Ghouta.”

Using and even killing children, however, to fabricate a case to support Obama’s war on Syria is even worse than all of that above.

“They were taken while a jihadist attack on pro-Assad alaouit villagers. Most of the families were killed. Some survived. In the improvised cemeteries around Latakia were found over a thousand dead. These children, of whom no one has heard about for two weeks, actually resurfaced on these videos.

“Those of which the families were still alive recognized them, and these families pressed charges for assassination. If we don’t understand what kind of care is given to these children on these videos, it’s simply because they are not being treated.

“They are being injected poison by intravenous, and being killed in front of the cameras.”

The US, Britain and France have claimed that the victims were gassed by sarin gas or a mix of gas including sarin gas, according to analysis from their own laboratories and their samples collected in the field, “completely impossible,” according to Meysann.

The United Nations have also gone to the scene and swabbed samples, but needed another ten days or so to analyze them.

Meyssan says, “So, in fact, what has been explained by the US, the UK and France, is that they have at their disposition secret investigation methods completely unknown to the scientific world, that permits to instantly cultivate human tissue and to have immediate results.”

Victims shown in the videos are trembling and drooling, characteristic of chemical intoxication with combat gas, not sarin gas that provokes a yellow drool, not white as seen in the videos..

Meysann points out that this is not just a matter of a potential war crime committed by Barack Obama if he attacks Syria or assassinates Assad.

“The US, UK and French leaders and liable to the International Penal Court,” Meysann says about the completely fabricated chemical attack story.

“It is the consequence of war propaganda, which is, according to international law, the worst crime, since it is a crime against peace, the one which enable to perpetrate other crimes, including crimes against humanity.”

Very interesting. I can’t see the dates on the videos, and Meyssan makes a large number of allegations which we have to take his word, such as the time it takes to analyze for sarin, and his allegation that the children are being poisoned intravenously. I’m inclined to believe a little, but not all. Just my personal take.

Thierry Meyssan lives in Damascus, Syria. He, therefore knows the issues, the culture, the propaganda better than any other journalist I know. I have never once in five years following his work, found it inaccurate. My American colleagues have the same sentiments about Meyssan as I do. I challenge you. dear Mr. Brown, to provide a more reliable, professional, on the ground source in Syria than Thierry Meysann. Please let me know. Until then, I hope you and everyone else reading propaganda cleverly used for another illegal war will remember Meysann, frequently check his Voltaire Network page about this article as linked and clearly spelled out in this article, and his other articles – to stay abreast of truth.

Here’s what Mother Agnes in Syria has said about the August 21 false flag:

“I have carefully studied the footage, and I will present a written analysis on it a bit later. I maintain that the whole affair was a frame-up. It had been staged and prepared in advance with the goal of framing the Syrian government as the perpetrator.

“The key evidence is that Reuters made these files public at 6.05 in the morning. The chemical attack is said to have been launched between 3 and 5 o’clock in the morning in Guta. How is it even possible to collect a dozen different pieces of footage, get more than 200 kids and 300 young people together in one place, give them first aid and interview them on camera, and all that in less than three hours? Is that realistic at all? As someone who works in the news industry, you know how long all of it would take.

“The bodies of children and teenagers we see in that footage – who were they? What happened to them? Were they killed for real? And how could that happen ahead of the gas attack? Or, if they were not killed, where did they come from? Where are their parents? How come we don’t see any female bodies among all those supposedly dead children?

“I am not saying that no chemical agent was used in the area – it certainly was. But I insist that the footage that is now being peddled as evidence had been fabricated in advance. I have studied it meticulously, and I will submit my report to the UN Human Rights Commission based in Geneva. (‘Footage of chemical attack in Syria is fraud’, Russia Today: http://rt.com/op-edge/mother-chemical-attack-footage-fraud-509/)
