Senator Rand Paul(R-KY) seems to have gotten ahead of himself a mite when he declared that he was proud of Barack Obama for following the Constitution by waiting for Congressional action on the pending war against Syria.
As reported, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) told Harris Faulkner on Fox Report that he’s “proud of President Obama” for following the Constitution.”
Two points worth mentioning: Just why in the hell does the President deserve praise for simply following the Constitution?
Is that not what he is sworn, by oath, to do? In other words, that is his GD job!
Secondly, with all due respect to Senator Paul, there are rumblings that, should Congress fail to approve of Obama’s latest ego trip, The One will launch missiles at Syria anyhow!
How proud will Paul be if and when Obama defies Congress directly by ordering a strike which is specifically against the will of Congress?
Will Paul and the rest of the Congress take immediate steps to impeach and remove our Cowboy-wanna-be from office, pride notwithstanding?
With all of the problems facing America, including the budget and debt ceiling wars, it is simply amazing that Barack Hussein Obama might throw the nation into a Constitutional Armageddon by defying Congress on Syria!
Only a hopelessly deluded ego-maniac would call for a vote with the intent of snubbing his nose at the Constitution should he not get his way.

I watched a short interview with Rand Paul who it seems to me is eloquent with his words, cautiously saying what he will, to not be of the same ilke of the ilke of which he speaks. You can read thru it, it is a technique so as not to start off on attack mode. Saying he was proud of potus was a shock word but only to make the next statement even more profound, the surprise and subsequent distrust, disgust, of what the ‘conditions’ were, that ONLY if Congress agreed with potus would potus consult them………. how unintelligent of potus, how arrogant, but shocker, no surprises there!
