What We Have To Look Forward To In War With Syria

Why the American People Chose Putin and Nasrallah Over Obama and McCain

One thing the U.S. does not want is boots on the ground in Syria.  It would be absolute suicide for the U.S. to try to fight 50,000 highly motivated, trained and skilled Hezbollah fighters waging a guerilla war against U.S. forces in urban terrain in Syria.  It would take more forces that it takes to fight all the Taliban in Afghanistan to defeat them.  And, given the availability of shoulder-fired anti-aircraft and anti-tank weapons for Hezbollah to deploy, much of the U.S. qualitative and quantitative advantages would be negated.

Imagine the U.S trying to destroy forces using advanced Soviet weapons and waging a hit-and-run battle.  Image if the U.S. tried to invade and the Syrians let go a salvo of Moskit and Yakhont ant-ship missiles after having no reason to show any restraint against the U.S.  Imagine if the vaunted U.S. Navy lost one or even two aircraft carriers. Would the American people be willing to wage a war against Syria in which Iran, Russia and China were heavily supporting Syria with highly trained special operations forces?  Would the U.S. want to be facing down Russian crews manning their mach 6 S300 phase arrayed anti-aircraft batteries that are more sophisticated, deadly and accurate than the U.S Patriot missile system?

What the U.S, knows is that there are weapons systems in which the Russians enjoy advantages that are at least two generations ahead of comparable U.S weapons systems.  Are we willing to go to war with Russia and China because Obama decided he dislikes Assad and placed his already low credibility on he line?  Warmongering Republicans state Obama’s credibility is on the line and hence that of the U.S., but since when has Obama had any credibility with the American people?  His Afghan Gambit proved to be a cheap election ploy that he has continued through his reign administration.

If Russia, Iran, and Hezbollah stand united, the fact is that the U.S. will have been backed down and Assad will have won as the extermination of Saudi-supported terrorists is continued.  This eventual defeat of Wahabbist fighters brings to light a not yet addressed question.  Why would the U.S. support division-level terrorist forces who had sworn allegiance to al Qaeda after the U.S has already wasted trillions of dollars invading countries to prosecute a decade-long global war on terror to chase less than a hundred jihadists around the Middle East?  The U.S. claimed al Qaeda was on the run and was so disorganized it could not effectively plan any attacks.  However, if al Qaeda were to win in Syria, they would in fact have a secure area from which they could plot and execute attacks at their leisure.

Thinking soldiers understand this issue and have started not only asking questions, but also posting on social media their determination to not be deployed to Syria to fight along al Qaeda.  U.S. senators and representative have stated they will not allow the U.S. air force to be used as ground support for al Qaeda. This open opposition to the commander-in-chief has ruffled feathers inside the DOD and it is apparent that support for Obama dragging the U.S. into the Syrian conflict would bode poorly for any general stupid enough to support this fool’s errand on which Obama is attempting to send the U.S. military. There have also been credible sources who have stated U.S. generals told Obama that if he supported al Qaeda in Syria in any meaningful way, he would not only be impeached, but also prosecuted for treason for giving aid to America’s enemies regardless of what Lindsey Graham and John McCain think or say.

If an aircraft carrier were to be destroyed and a war of attrition begun on U.S. aviation assets, such a situation would end U.S. hegemony forever and boost Russian sales of its weapon systems into the stratosphere thereby taking a huge cut out of the U.S.’s GNP as weapon sales make up ten percent of all U.S. exports.  None of this scenario even takes into account the Iranians cutting off oil shipments through the Persian Gulf and the ensuing economic catastrophe that would result from a tripling of oil costs.  Such a scenario would empty U.S. coffers and provide all of our oil-producing enemies the cash needed to also buy and field Russian missile systems to deter U.S. aggression.  What will the U.S. government do without anyone to bomb?

What the people running this country do not want Americans to know is that the U.S. and Saudi Arabia are hostage to each other and the global petrol dollar recycling scam comes closer to its death knell by the minute and can only be maintained through trillion dollar forced wealth transfers from the middle class to the few elites who benefit from maintaining a neo-colonial and neo-imperial system that steals wealth on a global scale.

While the U.S. threatens nations, its partner in the petrol dollar scam wreaks havoc across the Middle East as the U.S. not only sits back and does nothing, but also supports Saudi terror campaigns.  Yet, while Hezbollah acts with restrain and prosecutes wars in a professional fashion while abiding by the conventions of modern war, the U.S. and EU brand it a terror organization as a form of homage to Israel.  Hezbollah is fighting terrorism in Syria, yet the U.S. demands Assad destroy his chemical weapons as it provides more and deadlier weapons to soldiers executing and dismembering children and eating the internal organs of dead Syrian soldiers.

While the U.S. claims “Assad killed 93,000 people”, what the U.S. fails to say is that about 1/3 are Syrian soldiers fighting against terrorists, another 1/3 are Wahabbist foreign fighters and the other 1/3 are civilians who were executed by jihadist elements or collateral damage as the result of military offensives.  To say Assad killed 92,000 is disingenuous in the extreme.

As Syria destroys its chemical weapons, what does Assad get in exchange?  A promise of security guarantees is not worth the paper upon which it is written when dealing with Obama or Kerry as McCain and Graham conduct a war dance in the background.  The U.S. gave Saddam, Qaddafi and Assad security guarantees, what did such an agreement provide them when the U.S. decided to conduct regime change?

Right now the U.S. threatens Syria and if I were Assad I would tell the U.S. that either Syria keeps its weapons, or it gets rid of them by surrendering them to Hezbollah.  Then, let’s see how the U.S. likes that basket of apples.  Syria can not afford to make itself weaker just to get the U.S. to forego its international terrorism.  The U.S. government has proven adept at getting its surrogates to create pretended disputes to fabricate numerous incidents of casus belli to ensure it has whatever excuse it needs to fit current political climate to get the American people to support or excuse its illegal aggression.  The U.S. needs to understand it will be opposed by all everywhere it engages in international lawlessness and terror.  If I were Venezuela, I would send a division of soldiers with some of the 100,000 sniper rifles that the late Hugo Chavez bought from Russia and let them get real-world training killing terrorists.  If the U.S. needs to be told Russia will defend itself with tactical nukes and not allow the U.S to bomb its allies, then that is what needs to be done.  What Russia needs to understand is that the U.S. does not want nuclear war anymore than Russia, but the U.S. has to be stopped at some point.  There needs to be a red line regarding U.S. behavior.  What all the nations of the world need to do is band together to stop U.S. interventionism and make Americans face the consequences of the crimes of its government.  When the world does this, people like McCain and Graham will face the derision and marginalization that their political views regarding U.S. dominance deserve.

All the U.S. needs to continue its terrorizing of Syria is the excuse that Assad is supporting terror and providing support for a terrorist organization, that of course being its skewed definition of Hezbollah.  Then, all the neocons and network talking head operatives and politicians connected to the military-industrial complex will begin a new drive towards U.S. involvement that will lead to invasions and occupations.  Now is the time to lay to rest the leviathan state and put a stake in the heart of those vampires who suck the blood from humanity.  Anyone who thinks they can make a deal with the devil will be destroyed.  Nasrallah knows this and maintains his credibility exactly because he refuses to be manipulated by the U.S.  If I were an Iranian or Lebanese, my greatest aspiration would be to serve Hezbollah and all those who would stand against the criminality of the United States and this we see can only be accomplished through maintaining a credible defense.

The U.S. whines that weapons held by other government are against international convention, yet not a single media figure will mention the fact that the Israelis and the U.S. have used illegal weapons against people and infrastructure protected by international law.  Nobody mentions all the violations of international law by Israel or the U.S. in illegal invasions and occupations.  The Non-aligned Movement has even disavowed the U.S. government’s actions and recognizes its excesses as violations of nations’ sovereignty.  A destruction of Assad’s chemical weapons arsenal must be part of an Israeli agreement to ban chemical weapons from the entire Middle East.  Otherwise, this will only lead to the U.S. threatening more nations with the hope of weakening them.  Look what happened when the U.N. weapons inspectors verified that Saddam had no WMDs.  At that point the U.S. kicked out he U.N. and then began its war on Iraq.

The world must ensure that any attempt by the U.S. to attack other countries cost the U.S. so severely that it stops the piecemeal decimation of those who oppose it political, economic and military domination.  I say this as an American an given how I would feel if another country did to the U.S. that which the U.S. does every day.  I had hoped Ron Paul would have won the U.S. elections and those who lied the nation into war would be punished for war crimes and crimes against humanity.  But, it seems the people have not yet had enough of those who relentlessly plot and scheme.  As long as Senators McCain and Graham profit from war, I am absolutely sure they will lobby for every war in which the U.S. might be able to interject itself.

Rand Paul gave a blistering commentary on McCain’s foreign policy credentials recently when he mentioned a graph that depicted McCain’s support for U.S. interventions rating it by little pictures of him with an angry snarl under the name of the country in which he demanded the U.S. intervene.  Sen. Paul said, “It ranked different countries on how eager Sen. McCain wanted to be involved [militarily],” he explained while failing to suppress his amusement. “So, like, for getting involved in Syria, there’s five Angry McCains. For getting involved in the Sudan, there’s two Angry McCains. And there’s a little picture of him. You know, he was for getting involved to support [former Libyan president Muammar] Gaddafi before he was for overthrowing Gaddafi. He was for supporting [former Egyptian president Hosni] Mubarak before he was for supporting the Muslim Brotherhood before he was for supporting the generals.”  McCain was calling for all-out war with Russia because Russia decided to defend its Russian citizens who were violently attacked by George with massive artillery barrages on Ossetian civilians.  The Mother Jones article showed a map of half the world colored by being nations McCain demand the U.S. attack.  Therein lies the extent to his foreign policy credentials as he once demanded the U.S. attack Iran for its training of al Qaeda militants.  This idiocy comes from a man who the U.S. media labels as a foreign policy expert.  Putin’s analogy of “a monkey with a hand grenade” fits him perfectly.

As an American I can imagine the hatred I would hold towards any government that did to my country what the U.S. government is doing across the globe.  But, as the U.S. economy and those of the EU continue to crumble, it won’t be long before Americans begin putting people like McCain on trail after he drives this nation to a revolution.

I pray one day that Iran has 200 nuclear weapons to counter Israel and U.S losses across the Middle East force U.S. to reconsider its Israeli policy.  This is the only way there can ever be peace.  What ought to be clear to the world is that the U.S. has not lifted a finger as North Korea builds and detonates atomic weapons.  While, those nations who have sworn off nuclear weapons are threatened with invasion on a daily basis.  If there is a nuclear war, maybe Americans would eventually thank the country that was forced to take out Washington D.C. What a gift it would be to be out from under the police/prison/surveillance/warfare state.
