Act Of War or Accident? Massive Explosion Iranian Nuclear Facility Shattered Windows 7 miles Away, (Video)
Tehran Iran: Two people have reportedly died in a massive explosion at a nuclear facility just east of Tehran. First reports said the blast was so powerful that it shattered windows and shook homes 12 kilometers away.
The semi-official Iranian Students News Agency (Isna) said the fire was in an “explosive materials production unit”.
A pro-opposition website reported a huge blast near the Parchin military site, south-east of the capital, but this was not confirmed.
Parchin has been linked to Iran’s controversial nuclear programme.
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has not been given access to the complex since 2005.
Analysts say the IAEA suspects Iran of experimenting with explosives capable of triggering a nuclear weapon at Parchin.
These are early reports, it is still unclear what has happened at that military nuclear facility.
Already rumors of war circulate with speculation Israel may have had some involvement. If that were true, this event could shake the world political areana.
