ABSTRACT: Based upon the recent Security Council meeting held at the UN on July 5, 2017, both China and Russia were not cooperative nor willing to support the United States related to North Korea’s ICBM test on July 4, 2017. With a veto from Russia along with the apathy from China, the UN Security Council was unable to condemn Pyongyang’s illegal missile launch.

CONCERN: It is rather doubtful if China and Russia will be of any substantial assistance now for attempting to resolve the nuclear threat posed by North Korea against the United States. Due to the technical help provided by Beijing and Moscow to Pyongyang, Washington must become aware of their actual involvement that has contributed towards the current missile crisis and the dilemma it has caused for America’s national security by taking appropriate measures very soon.

ARTICLE: The Security Council of the United Nations at the request of the United States held an emergency meeting on this Wednesday, July 5, 2017, to address and discuss the recent missile test by North Korea on the west coast of the Korean Peninsula where an ICBM was launched. So Washington is very concerned because this is apparently the first time Pyongyang has announced it was a successful test of a different very long-range ballistic missile that is an ICBM capable of reaching the mainland of the United States. Based upon my ongoing research, besides being able to reach Alaska and Hawaii as reported by our nation’s intelligence community in Washington and also the news media, it could probably strike all regions of the continental United States.

Based mainly upon the previous successful missile tests made by North Korea, this new missile will be able to carry a nuclear warhead weighing up to 1000 kilograms, which is more than a ton. Furthermore, it can re-enter the Earth’s atmosphere from space without disintegrating. Due to the miniaturization of some components, this missile may be able to travel at greater distances than reaching the United States from the Korean Peninsula. Its naval submarines also pose a threat.

Although U.S. intelligence agencies acknowledge this ICBM is able to strike within a radius or range of Alaska and Hawaii from the Korean Peninsula, they still fail to acknowledge or realize it can now reach every American city in the United States. However, based upon the success of this latest test, they can no longer claim that it would still take an estimated three to five years before the regime of Kim Jong-un at Pyongyang is able to launch an ICBM that could strike any part of the United States. But apparently the intelligence community in Washington is unable to accurately analyze the current capability of North Korea and its very real threat of being able to strike any major city in America such as Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami or New York at a time when we have no effective Missile Defense System because that program was scrapped during the beginning of the Obama Administration without concern for Americans.

In April of 2009, U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates had announced a $1.4 billion cut in the fiscal budget of the Missile Defense Agency, which cancelled any further deployment of the Ground-Based Interceptors or GBI in Alaska and research and development or R&D of a second Airborne Laser; and the Multiple Kill Vehicle program. Since then, the Missile Defense Agency or MDA fiscal budgets had continued to spiral downward under the Obama Administration. So, now, America does not have any effective Missile Defense System that might stop any nuclear threats from North Korea due to the poor actions taken by former President Barack H. Obama.

Meanwhile, because China and Russia have provided manufactured components and technical assistance to North Korea’s missile and nuclear programs, in spite of President Donald J. Trump meeting today with Russian President Vladimir V. Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, it is rather doubtful if either Beijing or Moscow will provide Washington with any substantial help related to the current North Korean Missile Crisis that is being caused by Pyongyang. NORTH KOREA LONG-RANGE ICBM MISSILE AWAKENING ON JULY 4TH

Depending upon which side of the International Dateline or IDL you were, from the west coast of the Korean Peninsula, North Korea had tested a Long-Range Ballistic Missile or an ICBM on July 4, 2017, when it was launched eastward before falling into the East Sea or the Sea of Japan. Here on the West Coast of the United States, the date was July3, 2017 late at night. But when it became morning on the Fourth of July, America had an awakening that surpassed any fireworks.

For this first time in America, the news media and Washington had actually reported this ICBM Long-Range Ballistic Missile being tested by Pyongyang could actually reach the United States mainland at Alaska. However, if the truth were only known by the American people, they would become aware that North Korea is now able to strike at any city throughout the entire continent of North America, which, of course, includes the entire coterminous United States. Right now!

Furthermore, at least the American public should be aware and realize that it will not take three to five more years before North Korea can strike the mainland of the United States. However, all Americans need to know that Pyongyang is able to order a nuclear strike against New York and Washington as well as Los Angeles right now. So, America, wake up to reality and prepare now!

North Korea’s Atomic-Missile Program

For those of you who have followed and read my articles for several years, it became rather clear the earlier analytic reports sent by me to President John F. Kennedy in 1961, which had disclosed Soviet nuclear missile launch sites being constructed in northwestern Cuba, nearly a year before the Cuban Missile Crisis, had also contributed to preventing a global thermonuclear war in 1962. However, you may not be aware that our U.S. intelligence agencies were never aware of this. So if JFK had relied completely upon those federal government agencies, you would definitely not be reading this article at this time because America would have been toast.

But to be honest, we are facing a similar dilemma today because our leaders in Washington and the news media in America are relying only upon our nation’s intelligence community that tells us that North Korea will probably not be able to strike at the continental United States until two to five years from now. Assuming for a moment, this were true, these same officials are failing to inform us that we currently do not have an effective Missile Defense System in operation that is able to prevent ICBMs or very long-range missiles with nuclear warheads that might be launched from the Korean Peninsula or by North Korean naval submarines at sea from being able to strike at any large city in the United States because that program was scrapped during the time of the Obama Administration. Unfortunately, it is estimated that a new Missile Defense System would require another decade before being able to become operational. So, if it were true about North Korea not being able to strike at the United States for at least two to five years, assuming that the Trump Administration has initiated a new Missile Defense Program, we would probably need at least an additional five years before we could be protected from this thermonuclear threat.

But, based upon several years of analyzing the North Korean Nuclear Missile Program, Kim Jong-un and his regime at Pyongyang are able to strike now at any designated target in America.
