RE: LETHAL CHEMICAL REAGENTS DEPLOYED BY RUSSIANS IN SYRIA FOR ASSAD AND ALSO UK?

Dear Mr. President:

Although I am aware that many of your highly-influential supporters, including talk show hosts, strongly support Russian President Vladimir V. Putin and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, as a professional geographer and a geopolitical analyst whose father was a U.S. Army Chemical Warfare officer during the 20th Century, my understanding of the recent incidents in Syria and the United Kingdom are significantly different from those of my esteemed friends.

Because it was just recently revealed to me that, during World War II, my father was sent to the Soviet Union to instruct and train Russian military personnel on chemical defense when NAZI Germany had stockpiles of lethal chemical reagents or “gases” that could kill millions of civilians and soldiers. After the Second World War, he was informed that all of those huge stockpiles of nerve gas were acquired by the Russians who were trained by him earlier. During the Cold War, the Soviets provided these reagents to their allies in the Middle East. Due to the contacts made by KGB agent Yevgeny Primakov, Syria became a very close ally of the Kremlin. Damascus had supported Moscow during its invasion of Afghanistan in 1989. The Russians have also deployed Polonium-210 when they killed Alexander Litvinenko at London in the UK. Meanwhile, Syria may still have chemicals that were to be sent to Russia.

To Whom It May Concern:

The American People need to know that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad must also be held accountable for the unusually cruel death of American journalist James Foley due to the fact that he allowed him to be turned over to the ISIL.

It is my understanding that American journalist James Foley was actually captured by the Shabiha militia, a group loyal to Syrian PresidentBashar al-Assad. He was then held in a Syrian Air Force Intelligence complex in Damascus. Apparently, at a later time, James Foley was handed over to the ISIL on orders from the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. If the aforementioned is true, then Syrian PresidentBashar al-Assad should be held responsible for the cruel and tragic death of James Foley.

Steven Joel Sotloff was apparently captured by the ISIL near Aleppo and not to far from where James Foley had been captured. Both of these dedicated American journalists spent their last days of captivity in the hands of the misanthropic ISIL before they were “beheaded” in such a cruel and barbaric manner.

Based also upon my research, the ISIL is actually an “off-shoot” of the former Iraqi Republican Guard that was established by Saddam Hussein before his departure from Iraq and into his “safe haven” in northern Syria between the Balikh River and the Khabor River, which is located inland away from the Syrian-Iraqi Border. Therefore, based upon my analysis, President Obama would not need to obtain approval for U.S. airstrikes against the ISIL headquarters well inside Syria because it is “hot pursuit.”

As for Syria, because Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is responsible for turning James Foley over to the ISIL, he has committed a criminal act under international law and should be punished. So, perhaps even U.S. airstrikes against Syrian military targets inside Syriawould also be justified. I think the American people would definitely support a declaration of war against the ISIL and also against Syria ifthey knew the real truth about how James Foley was turned over to them by Syrian President Assad.
