Good morning, I’m still reporting on: Trump Ends Korean War, 2018
Synopsis: President Trump has ended the Korean War. After 65 years, this morning, the leaders of North Korea and South Korea met and agreed to sign a treaty by the end of the year to formally end the Korean War.
Fighting between the North and the South ended in 1953. Although an armistice was signed, no peace treaty was ever agreed to, so the two Koreas are technically still at war, engaged in a frozen conflict.
President Trump’s determination to impose biting sanctions on the north, along with his diplomatic efforts with China which caused them to cut off most incoming oil, were the determining factors to finally drive North Korean leader Kim Jong-un into negotiations to end his nuclear weapons program and thereby the war.
[Still many details remain to be settled, however, the deciding factor for North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un is thought to have been CIA Director Mike Pompeo’s recent covert visit to North Korea whereby he informed Kim that President Trump had decided on military intervention that would obliterate North Korea’s remaining military capability, their nuclear weapons facilities, and most likely Kim, himself. Needless to say, President Trump had recently demonstrated the U.S. capability for surgical strikes when he destroyed Syria’s chemical weapons R&D facility in Damascus. The interesting story here is how did Pompeo, freshly minted as the U.S. Secretary of State, get to Korea so quickly to have this picture taken? Notice that it was a staged event, no doubt after the two Korean leaders had shaken hands in this picture. Was it a relay of our fastest military jets? It will be an interesting story.

Rush had an interesting thing to say that will TRUMP get the Nobel Peace Price? The Negro got one and nobody EVER took it seriously knowing he got it because he was a Negro. He actually FOMENTED the wars we are having now – and then.
Will Trump get it having genuinely got this historic meeting between these two countries??
So nothing about Kim doing a Nixon moment and meeting Moon of South Korea then both of them agreeing to end the war together yesterday, noticed POTUS was not there. No Potsdam for this President. Korean DIY, about 70 years late.
Smoke and mirrors. It isn’t like NK has agreed to all sorts of things in return for food, money, fuel etc and then done whatever they want to do.
Well in Korea if all that money spent on weapons went back into the econony both sides win, NK if the US is kicked out could reduce its armed forces, same with the South, NK gets a LOT more out of that deal. Come back in 50 years to see if either still feels the same way about armed unification or has split culturally into progressive and conservative camps of Korean culture always living on different side of the fence, uneasy neighbors but never friends.
