David and Goliath is a good metaphor for Russia and the the West.
All wars are intelligence wars. Without intelligence there would be no war. 
The war is directed by intelligence.
 It is this intelligence Russia is confronted with more than any military hardware or foot soldier and it has to respond and not just respond but deliver the knockout blow to Western intelligence, if it wants to win the war in Ukraine.
This knockout blow will end the war. This pebble necessary to strike a blow to the West’s temple will come, no doubt, from a bagful of tricks Russia has stored up inside its own  intelligence apparatus.
The question should be asked which intelligence is more intelligent, the Western behemoth,Goliath or the Russian David?
