$$$ WATER - Nestle` Making a run as the most EVIL Corp vs. MonSATAN
I could just cry at what people let these SLIME BALLS get away with.
CRAP like this is what will create the ‘Domestic Terrorist’, not too mention the Obamanation Regime’s latest list of Atrocities against the American people.
“One Man’s Terrorist is.. Another Man’s Hero..”
I am beginning to lean more toward those labaled “Terrorist” myself. If there was ever a cause to “Strap One On”, these Sociopaths are giving them one! Who says you need to Strafe Drone Bomb an inncocent Mundane villiage to create a Terrorist? Just charge them $money$ for a drink of water.. *POOF* You now have a Thirsty Terrorist!

Nestlé pays $3.71 for every million litres of water it pumps from the local watershed, which it then packages in single-use plastic bottles and sells back to the public for as much as $2 million.
Rather than go into Monsanto’s LONG LIST of Slow Genocide, I will simply link you with a search result that yeilds many examples.. Click…

Unless you are drinking directly from a lake, stream or spring, you are already paying for water. Western lifestyles have destroyed our basic tolerance to common water borne contaminants, to the degree that most of us require some degree of water treatment, whether thru public works or privatized filtration systems being sold to us. I disagree with the Nestle CEO’s assertion that water is not a right, we should have the right to access fresh water on public grounds, but we generally require purification or filtration or some form of treatment, and who’s to say we are somehow entitled to this? If we cross paths on a hiking trail and your water filter is broken and mine is functional, am I obligated to produce clean water for you?
“Obligated”.. Yes, as a human being you are! How can that even be an argument?
How about turning the tables here, and what if.. YOU showed up and mine worked and I said Piss off?
*smh*
I am a backpacker and I have never turned someone away who needed help. Having said that, no I am not obligated to save you from some diarrhea….
You are a product of your choices. Your diet dictates that you cannot drink from the stream directly. The water is there. The process of cleaning it is not necessarily free. Are you saying that we are all entitled to free, clean water? If you live in a western civilization, you do not have that even now. Water bill ring a bell?
*smh* across from you…
@Kwisatz Haderach
LOL I love debate with those who can without major derogatory comment such as yourself..
Umm, well.. I see your pint, but the point is moot! You just said you’d never turn a thirsty person away, right? So, why bring Hershey Squirts into the conversation.. That has nothing to do with you supplying a clean drink of water. If they had such a messy problem, it is their own fault.
How about this instead..
You teach them how to clean their own water “AFTER” giving them a drink?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Apfy2-cxads
Leda your youtube vid only helps make my point. Clean water isnt free, it takes some level of effort to achieve. BTW I always hit the trail with a backup water purification plan, if my filter fails, I fall back on iodine tablets. Point being, if your body demands a level of treatment for water consumption, who should bear the ultimate burden of responsibility to ensure that happens? Most of us are fine with simply paying our water bill and accepting what comes from the tap, although it seems many falsely think of this as “free” – it’s not. Some of us are willing to run containers to the store and fill up with some R/O water every couple weeks. Some are willing to pay ridiculous sums for “smart” water, lol.
Either way, even if you want to use a “hillbilly waterfilter”, there is some effort and pro-active thought/work that goes into that, rather than simply stating a claim of entitlement to a specific quality of water.
Im not disputing that water itself should be readily available, I am challenging that idea that the process of cleaning it to accommodate our bodies modern dietary demands should somehow be totally free — someone has to pay for it, and no matter what it’s never truly free in the end under that circumstance. I know you agree. Go ahead and admit it.
@Kwisatz Haderach
Mildly derogatory..
Okay, BUTT NUGGET! LOL
You are right.. If some “thirsty” person shows up.. It is their own damn fault and NOT our “your” responsibility to help them.. YES RIGHT AGREED!
Let’s toss them into the volcano or something and be done with those idiots, huh?
Besides, it is such a pain to show them simple techniques to clean their own water and all.
Maan, I can’t imagine the heartache in doing that task and wasting 5minutes. hehe
I am with you though.. At this point there is no excuse! And there is no way I’d take from the mouths of my loved ones to feed or “water” an idiot!
The hillbilly waterfilter is an emergency system. Its extremely crude, and will clean *most* contaminants in a pinch. Not a long term clean water solution. So, to use your own phrase back at ya, your point is moot. Since the article up top is regarding water consumption in general. I used backpacking filtration as an analogous example. You are using a crude filter as though its some kind of mass solution. Its not.
