In the middle of the lace, make a small noose knot that can get tighter as you pull on both ends.
Hold your shoelace gently from both ends, and fit it over the closed door in the crack between the door and the car’s frame.

What’s the picture of the string hanging out from the lock, all about?
I know. It has nothing to do with the explanation directly above it… Here’s a REAL 5 SECOND WAY. All cars now have central locking which runs Off air pressure. Simply cut a tennis ball in half, place it over the keyhole and pump it. Or just get a toilet plunger.. I know a thousand ways but as you said. That picture is NOT it.
Unless the key-hole is mount on a raised door handle and you cannot seal around it. I guess you COULD try a compressed air container with a straw that fits into the keyhold. Maybe I’ll try that…
Nah. Got better things to do.
Also a basic universal TV remote will tune into ANY electric rolladoor
yup-picture is bullshit–i just use the key–it only takes 1.7 seconds
Plus, these days you really have to be stupid to be able to lock the car keys in the car.
If you use the ‘fob key’, then you need it outside the car to lock it.
FRAMAR. Tennis ball has been the perfect tool since central locking came out. When you pump it. It creates enough push for it to not matter if it’s sealed perfectly.. As kellogs say. The simplest things in life are often the best.
BIN “journalists” are so bad their “job”.
It seems like an unfireable job considering it’s cut n paste journalism including other peoples video’s mostly. But there’s the occasional diamond amongst the rough here still… Still more credibility than CNN 😂😂😂 lol
Hello Angle#3,
Charlie here. Total time is false.
Realize your mistake; 2-3 minute
Call taxi wait – 30 minute.
Go to store look for string and scissors -20 minute.
Ride back; 20-30 minute.
Prep string; 10 minute
Actual unlocking; 10+ minutes.
Unlock and realize why you are locked out. You lost the keys!
Call taxi again wait – 30 minutes.
Go to prison 1-3 years when you beat up taxi driver for laughing.
Total time – 2 1/2 hours + 3 year prison term. <-
And that is why I'm your boss.
Signed,
Charlie ( )
Yeah, you can also just keep a spare key in your wallet.
I’ve never understood why everyone doesn’t do that, I’ve done it since I was 16.
It happened to me once or twice where I locked myself out of my car. Can’t tell you how miserable that is.
So, like you, I carry a spare key but with one addition. Before I EVER close the door to anything, house, car, etc., I make it a rule to make sure the key is in my hand and repeat in my mind to look at it and say CONFIRMED before I EVER SHUT ANY DOOR.
Been doing it this for way for over 20 years and it has NEVER failed me.
Tip 2.
How not to sit on your sunglasses. Ruined two expensive ones this way. NEVER EVER put it ANYWHERE you will sit or EVEN think of sitting or anywhere anyone can put their fat ass on even if it does not resemble a chair.
Have not sat and broke ANY sunglasses EVER since then. Have flattened a couple of doughnuts, though.
Cant do that in new 2017 Fords F150 when mines locked The lock peg is below the peg hole top there nothing to loop around, besides there the pin combo locks on most new vehicles. When I lock my truck now I usually leave my keys in the concealed key drawer and use the combo lock to unlock it just like way back combination locks on your locker in high school, never forgot that combo lol, that way I don’t have to carry them around with me and I can’t lose them either. Great trick though for older vehicle, wish I had known this one 40 years ago would have really helped me one night in particular but that’s another story
My method above will get straight into your brand new car.
Most locks are on the side of the doors now. A hammer or a big rock will also unlock your doors in 1 second.
Yeah, but it can be noisy until you can disable the alarm. Of course, no one pay any attention to car alarms.
Nah just smash a porcelain coffee cup and flick the smallest piece straight at window. Because they must shatter by law the ceramic is the perfect cutting tool. Same thing with sparkplugs but that’s a hassle. Coffee cups are fast n easy.
I was at a car wash at 6am one morning washing my van before I went into the office. In the stall next to me was a guy that looked passed out and the music in his car was blaring. As I walked by his car to get change from the machine I could see his breath as he was breathing weird and his AC was cranking. I walked by the window and he had shot himself and I saw a note on the front seat. I called 911 and the cops showed up and one of them was trying to use a slim jim to open the door. After 2-3 minutes I went to my van and got out a 3′ aluminum pipe wrench. It made quick work of the back window. Unfortunately the guy died on the gurney right in front of me.
That was awesome or I should say genius!
Just one question – WHERE did you find an antique car with that kind of lock switch? Cuba maybe?
My car has buttons down on the door genius. Your string won’t work…
