Called Polar Vortex, sounds like a typical cold winter storm. Growing up in a place where you would get frost bite on your cheeks from your glasses and frost bite on your nose if not covered up, this is a typical good old winter that we are getting again. Enough with puttimg fear Into people and saying ” rare” yadda yadda bs !!!!!!!

HAARP, whether modification at its finest.

it’s only rare because it’s Missoula, where the winds are usually low due to the terrain. the windchill in Billings, for example, has to be -40 to merit a warning. it’s winter…in Montana…

      just sayin’

Its winter in Nebraska as well. I think its called a season in the north.

Now I really can not remember the year I was in chicago and I think the windchill index was -84 and the cars would not stay running very long. 80′s something as I recall or late 70′s. Dont remember just lived there during the time and we also fired an over at 500 and it still was cold in the house.

Gotta go with the winter in Mt. approach . I was there late 80′s early 90′s , loved it …. BUT , we had an actual temperature one morning outside of Red Lodge at -52 F. Not windchill.
These temps in the news will be cold for southern states and it is early for these temps .
