Rare Artic Blast?

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Why do some posters of stories disable comments?  Anyway, am commenting on the so-called “Rare Artic Blast” story.  Have been around for over 60 years.  Have lived on the west coast for all of them, and there have been Artic air storms like this on numerous occassions.  Back in the early 1980′s there was a very cold Artic system that came south, with temps in the 0 to -30 range when I lived in Oregon.  One October, while hunting elk in the mountains east of Roseburg, Oregon, the temps were in the -35 degree range, so this is really not that big a deal, and not all that rare.  Last year, in early December, the Lake Tahoe area experienced a very cold air mass coming in from the north, and temps got down into the single digits during the daylight hours.  Am curious as to why the weather maps on Intellicast, for example, are showing no snow falling in the Lake Tahoe area, yet outside this morning here on the south side of the lake theres 2 inches of snow on the ground, and its stilll snowing.  Wind is blowing right out of the north and its 20 degrees, with temps to get down into the single digits tonight after the storm system moves south.

Lots of “views”, but only one comment? Watching the weather pattern out over the Pacific Ocean and its quite obvious that “something” is blocking the storms from coming in to the west coast of the US, especially California. It appears the jetstream is being manipulated to make that happen. Question is, is this an act of man, or is this an act of God?
