Prepare Now Another Blizzard To Blast New England While Dangerous Cold Threatens Over 100 Million

With the arctic cold we have been having here in the Northeast, I knew it was only a matter of time before another wicked storm blows up. Here we go again.

It appears the the heaviest snow from this next storm will take place farther North and East than the last blizzard’s have. This storm will be affecting a lot of people with dangerous winds ,temps/wind chills, Coastal flooding, winds during the height of the storm winds could gust to 70MPH according to Accuweather. With the terrible cold like this it is not the time you want to lose power, so make sure you’ll be ok if power goes out and have a back up plan. I woke up to 9 degrees this morning, brrrr!

With winds of this magnitude there will be power outages no doubt.

Boston could be in for up to a foot of snow? depending on the exact tract of the storm.

NYC is under a travel advisery and on Long Island, a winter storm watch has been issued  along with a High wind warning as well.

Areas far removed from the center of the storm in the mid-Atlantic can experience life-threatening cold, the risk of power outages from high winds, and the possibility of road closures and flight cancelations.

We can Expect a squall line of snow to kick things off.

According to AccuWeather.com Senior Meteorologist Henry Margusity, “The arctic front will behave like a squall line, but instead of bringing heavy rain, it could bring a brief period of heavy snow.”

As this band of snow rolls along like a wall of white, it can create dangerous conditions for those traveling at highway speeds. 

With the sudden temperature drop occurring with the snow squall line, it will cause roads to become nasty slippery in a matter of minutes, so be ready.

The weather channel is reporting blizzard warnings in 4 states have been issued.

Parts of four states are under a blizzard warnings as Winter Storm Neptune, now developing over the Great Lakes, prepares to deliver a bitter blast of high winds and snow to a swath from the Midwest to the Northeast, including parts of New England still struggling to recover from a series of major snowstorms virtually unprecedented in modern times.

• In the Northeast, blizzard warnings have been issued for most of eastern Massachusetts, including Boston, as well as the New Hampshire Seacoast and roughly the southeastern half of Maine, including Portland.
