The Dead Sea Scrolls are the greatest archeological find in history. So many people wanted them to be kept secret from society because it would confirm that the multi millenium prophecies of the Messiah, the Savior, the Christ was in fact fulfilled by Jesus of Nazareth. The Jews didn’t want them discovered because it would make them feel like fools because they didn’t realize He was the Messiah and led Him to be killed by the Roman governor Pontius Pilate. Satan sure as hell didn’t want them revealed, because all the atheists, Muslims, and believers in other false doctrines in the world, would be exposed and lose revenue in their corporate like greed. Scientology, which is so whacked out, would make their followers like Tom Cruise and John Travolta and the whole Hollywood scene lose further face and dollars.
What the Dead Sea Scrolls reveal is that they have been dated between 100 B.C. (Before Christ) and 300 B.C. and they contain complete books or fragments of all the books of the Jewish/Christian/Muslim Old Testament except for the book of Esther. [Esther is the only book that doesn't mention the word God; however, it implies the incredible hand of God.]
When one compares the pre-Christ writings to todays version of the Hebrew and Aramaic texts they are identical. This proves:
- The texts of the Old Testament have not been corrupted over history.
- The prophecies of the Old Testament were in fact written PRIOR to Jesus being born.
- Jesus fulfilled ALL the prophecies about the coming Messiah and therefore is the Messiah
- Jesus is in fact God.
There is much confusion in the world about Christianity in that many think three Gods are worshipped: Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. That view is incorrect. There is ONE God with three aspects. Consider this mathematical formula 1 X 1 X 1 = 1 instead of this formula, 1 + 1 + 1 = 3. That confusion is why Muslims think that Christianity is a polytheistic faith when it is in fact a monotheistic faith.
Furthermore, Muslims think that Jesus is not God because Allah would not come down and have human sex with Mary of Nazareth. That is why the Old Testament prophecies that the Messiah will be born of a virgin, which Jesus was. The embryo of Jesus was put into Mary for her to nurture and deliver as a baby in Bethlehem, which is yet another prophecy.
Muslims think Jesus is just a prophet as was Moses and they also think Muhammad is a prophet. However, if Muhammad was a prophet, his teachings can NOT contradict the revelations of the Old and New Testament, which they do. Islam can not be a third covenant.
Muslims believe that the Old Testament was corrupted which the Dead Sea Scrolls prove that they were not corrupted. Muslims also think that the New Testament was corrupted which it wasn’t. Allah even said that his word could not be corrupted so at which point was the New Testament corrupted? The oldest New Testaments that we have predate Islam by hundreds of years and are identical today to the Greek New Testaments we have today.
Muslims also question, “If Jesus is God, who controlled the universe while He was dead?” The answer to that is that the Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit did. They are NOT two other Gods but two aspects of God. No analogies of the Trinity are sufficient to comprehend but here are a few examples:
1) A pot of ice placed on a hot stove will eventually contain some ice, some water, and some steam. All of it is H2O in different states within the pot ALL at once. [Think of the ice as the hard law–The Father. Think of the water as the blood of Jesus shed to blot out our sins as white as snow {another form of water}, and the steam as the Holy Spirit which moisture through humidity is not visible often}
2) A triangle has three sides yet it is one.
3) Time is one yet there is past, present, and future.
4) God is love. Love is one. There is a lover, a process of loving, and the object being loved.
The most important thing to know is that the Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit are equal in power and they are all eternal. The Father sent Jesus. Jesus died. The Holy Spirit raised Jesus from the dead. When Jesus went back to Heaven He left the Holy Spirit as a deposit for His return. When someone excepts Jesus as their Lord (giving Him control) and Savior, the Holy Spirit comes into the person and is the Counselor of Truth. The human then becomes a tabernacle or temple and should not defile it.
The probability that one individual could fulfill ALL the prophecies of the coming Messiah are incomprehensible and astronomically small. Yet Jesus did fulfill all the prophecies and that in itself proves that all things are possible by Jesus. Just two examples are that the Messiah was to be born in Bethlehem yet come out of Eqypt. Scholars back then wondered how that could happen. It turns out that Jesus was born in Bethlehem and then escaped to Eqypt to avoid the death that would have come upon Him by the jealous King Herod who thought that the King of the Jews would overthrow him. All this was part of God’s plan.
Below are some photographs with descriptions. Interesting enough is that an Arabic Muslim bedouin youth discovered the scrolls while looking for a lost goat. He was throwing rocks into a cave to listen for his goat to be startled and move when he heard pottery shatter. This discovery happened in 1947, one year prior to the Jews getting back their homeland. Scrolls were continued to be found in that area through 1956.

Jesus fullfiled nothing relevent to modern man,and probably was only half relevent to the people of the time.Their “messiah” was probably born out of hope that a resue mission was taking place to save the people/aliens that landed here of which TPTB of the time knew of…way befor the knowledge was erased by time.

Whenever I read people comment about how there is no God and yet there they are, typing, thinking existing–you are the proof that contradicts your position. You are a conscious being able to exercise free will. God wants people to seek him of their own volition, of their own choice. If you look around and fail to see God it is because you have your own reasons for disbelief–you have chosen not to look for him with an honest and open heart.
In the end, some things are true–whether you choose to believe them or not. I would think the readership of this website would understand this better than anyone. Jesus is the Christ, prophesied of old. He came to make things right–to make us right with the Father. In Him there is hope, love, and life. I encourage those who doubt to take a second look at Jesus. Read his words–they are truth–”and the truth shall set you free.”

When will the human race leave their primitive beliefs in the past? You’re gods are created in our own flawed image. The Christian god is nothing more than a blend of the Egyptian sun god Ra and the Jewish god (who was also spawned from Ra). Jesus is nothing more than a carbon copy of the Egyptian Horus. Do your research Christians and you will see the Catholic religion(which spawned all of Christianity) is steeped in ancient Egyptian mysticism.
Whatever God may be, it transcends all our pathetic religions. Its time to stop acting like ape men, in awe of the unknown, and move toward true enlightenment.
By the way…just because we don’t believe in the Christian god does not mean we don’t believe in a Creator. Some of us just don’t believe in man made religions that amass great fortunes and power while its subjects live in poverty.
If Christianity is truth, then shouldn’t truth stand strong in the light of day? Why did the Catholic church feel the need to murder and suppress those who believed in something other than their god? Why do all Christians tell people of other faiths they will go to hell if they don’t believe in the Christian god? Why does this religion have to resort to threats to gain new members?
Hindus and Buddhists are the oldest religion on the planet. Compared to them, Christianity is nothing more than a screaming baby demanding everyone’s attention and devotion. Its not even a religion, its a Jewish cult. The only reason the Jews don’t believe Jesus was the messiah is because they don’t believe in pagan resurrection, which comes from the Wiccans and their worship of the seasons and the sun…the crops are born and cut down, only to be reborn the following year. Even Jesus’s birthday is a pagan holiday.

Prophecies to Identify the Messiah, Which Jesus Does Not Fulfill:
Matthew 1:23 says that Jesus (the messiah) would be called Immanuel, which means “God with us.” Yet no one, not even his parents, call him Immanuel at any point in the bible.
The Messiah must be a physical descendant of David (Romans 1:3 & Acts 2:30). Yet, how could Jesus meet this requirement since his genealogies in Matthew 1 and Luke 3 show he descended from David through Joseph, who was not his natural father because of the Virgin Birth. Hence, this prophecy could not have been fulfilled.
Isaiah 7:16 seems to say that before Jesus had reached the age of maturity, both of the Jewish countries would be destroyed. Yet there is no mention of this prophecy being fulfilled in the New Testament with the coming of Jesus, hence this is another Messiah prophecy not fulfilled
To claim the Torah was corrupt is nothing more than typical Christian arrogance and total blind faith. By changing the Torah, Christianity has committed the greatest sin possible…doubting the word of the Biblical god…”It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid.” (Luke 16:17 NAB)

What Jesus had to say on the Torah, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. The dead sea scrolls is one of the biggest hoaxes of all time. One of the people who supposedly deciphered/ translatored the scolls was? JRR Tolkien. It was created to prove to the world that Israel was really the Jews promised land. Mount I Sin is a clue.

Interesting story and I think it’s great that BIN it’s a site where there’s stories about such a huge range of things. It’s pathetic that readers who have the right to believe in whatever they want feel compelled to bag out anyone who believes something different to them, which is what has happened here and on most other stories that dare to cover anything that may mention something to do with a religion. The fact is that anything relating to the last 2000 years is probably going to mention someone or some place that’s mentioned in some holy text. Accept that BEFORE you click on the story if you’re in any way offended by any other belief than your own. Especially if you feel the need to convert the rest of us. If we’re on this site it’s a fair bet we’ve already made up our minds about what each of us believe.
Anon, what is your problem? The the most likely truth of the past, as dictated by the historical record, the actual provable recorded evidence, is plain and simply that Jesus of Nazareth did not exist as a physical human being as relayed in the Bible. Don’t trust your faith, faith is a solid unshakable belief in something for which there is absolutely no supporting physical evidence. If there were even the tiniest shred of actual physical proof, faith would be entirely unneccesary, because there would be knowledge, and as you should realize, knowledge eliminates the need for faith.
The Bible gives like three different accounts of the times and events pertaining to Jesus’ birth. The one that says that King Herod ordered all male infants killed in an attempt to prevent the Messiah prophesy from being fulfilled, is total BS, Herod had been dead for several years by the time of Jesus alleged birth.
Even according to the self contradictory supposedly uncorrupted, infallible, Word of God, The Holy Bible, Jesus was NOT born on or even close to December 25th.
Pontius Pilate was Prefect of the region, that is much like a Governor. As the Chief Administrator of the city-state, do you not find it odd, that he, Pilate, makes no mention anywhere in his notes, logs, journals or the public record of a possible Messiah of the Hebrew people? One who gained infamy and notariety as a devine “Man” who turned soft men’s hardened hearts, healed the sick, raised the dead, exorcised the possessed, walked on water, was rumored to be THE very Son of God. He, Jesus, caused such a commotion among the learned and clergy of the Hebrew people, that he, Pilate, felt compelled to keep the peace, or prevent the Jews from rioting out of control, by granting their requests to punish the sinner, to put to death the heretic, to crucify the blasphemer. None of these points of interest were deemed worthy of a descrption even a single line long, in the official logged record of Pontius Pilate’s tenure?
What if a higher ranking official was passing through, had heard great and fantastic tales about the Son of God, here on Earth as a son of man, sent by God Himself to cleanse our souls forgive our sins and transgressions, so that any individual had a fair chance to enter God’s Kingdom in Heaven through His only begotten Son, and inquired as to where He was and if He could be summoned for an audience? I mean, if you were an employee of the Great Caesar, and you had recently visciously, violently scourged and crucified like a common thief, the possible King of the Jewish peoples, The Saviour of All Mankind, wouldn’t you want to document exactly why you did what you did, and why you thought it was the only choice you could make that wouldn’t result in chaos and pandemonium??? You know the real reason though, to save your ass if someone higher up didn’t like or agree with your decision…
Well, then, why is it that Pilate never mentions any Jesus, Yeshua, Joseph or Mary, or Bethlehem???

Almost every major event story told of in the Old Testament, such as the six day account of the creation of the Earth and of the first humans, Noah’s Ark, the Great Flood, Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, Babylon, Adam and Eve coming into awareness of their own nakedness recent ignorance and exile from Eden, exactly who God and Satan were/are, Satans fall and how a third of the Angels went with him, were borrowed, stolen, or outright copied from the ancient Sumerian and other ancient cultures texts tablets and surviving scrolls, commonly called the Lost Book of Enki, (translated and compiled by eminent Orientalist and Biblical Scholar, Zecharia Sitchin), in one way or another, and the Sumerian tablets on which much of the text is found predate the beginning of Judiasm by millenia.
YES the dead sea scrolls prove that Muslims, Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, New Agers, Gnostics and others are wrong. They all say the BIBLE WAS CHANGED. IT WAS NOT CHANGED. Either accept it or reject it as it is.

Funny how the Sunday churches focus on the 3rd day, when Jesus rose from his tomb. These churches keep Sunday as their day of worship. Never should have happened this way. Saturday is the Sabbath. Jesus kept the Sabbath, even in death. Focus on the fact he died on Friday, rested on Sabbath, then rose the next day. You can celebrate all day about the fact he rose on the 3rd day, but don’t focus on the 3rd day. Just focus on the fact Jesus rose from death.

Occasionally people ask why there is no record of Jesus in Roman records.
The answer is that there are no surviving Roman records but the highly parochial Roman historians who had little interest in the comings and goings of the jews in the kingdom and were far more concerned about Emperors and Kings. Jesus made a very small splash while he was alive and there was no reason for Roman historians to notice him.
BUT Christianity is mentioned by the historian Tacitus in the early second century. But he only makes mention of it because Christians were unfortunate enough to be made scapegoats by the Emperor Nero for the great fire of Rome. Tacitus is interested in the Emperor, not his victims about whom he gives very limited information. Still, he does tell us that Jesus existed and was crucified under Pontius Pilate.
Oh, and there is also the lives of his disciples. Each of the men who spent time with Jesus, those who witnessed his death and resurrection, all of them would eventually die preaching the good news of his coming. They were offered pardon if they would only deny him–but they could not do this.
If they were merely trying to spread some cult to gain themselves power they would not have given up their lives–not for a lie. Jesus lived in space and time–the proof is all around you. 1) God would NEVER instruct his angels to KILL any innocent child, only Satan would,
2)the angels did not need to be guided by the blood on the front doors as they are divine and would know who were the Jews,
3) How could the Jews be the Chosen people, when God knew before hand that the Jews would not recognize his son Jesus Christ as the son of God and that the Jews would be responsible, historically, for Jesus’ death on the cross?
Therefore, my logical conclusions are
1) the Jews are not the Chosen people of God as they refuse to accept Jesus as the son of God and was responsible for his death
2) the Passover is a satanic celebration as God would NEVER be a party to the killing of innocent children in ancient Egypt or in modern Palestine.

I do not take the Biblical stories literally, but, being familiar with what you wrote about, I would like to point out a flaw in your logic. God never instructed any Angels to kill anyone. According to the story, God gave authority and power to Moses to deal with Ramses II, and with that power and authority, Moses declared to Ramses II that whatever punishments he ordered visited on the Isrealites, would instead be visited upon the Egyptians. Declarations are binding. So, indirectly, Ramses II actually instructed the Angel of Death to kill the first-born males of the Egyptian households. As he also indirectly instructed the Power of God, through Moses to bring the frogs, locusts, darkness, fever, boils, turn the water into blood…
The author of this article has obviously never read the dead sea scrolls or he/she would know that they talk about aliens far more then any God, and certainly do not prove anything to do with Jesus.

God didn’t name the 10th plague, Pharoah did. Pharoah proclaimed that the firstborn of all the Hebrews would be killed, so God allowed his word to stand and for him to not be exempted from it. God also gave the solution to it, COVERING WITH THE BLOOD SACRIFICE. Anyone who listened to and obeyed God was passed over. Well written OP. As you’re well aware there are a lot of scared insecure atheists on this board who will come to attack you without a moments hesitation. They’re immensely close minded and violent, because they know if they’re wrong that it means Hell, so they go out of their way to hate and degrade anyone who reminds them of it.
I appreciate this author pointing us to the apologetic value of the Dead Sea Scrolls. This is very valuable . His articulation of the Godhead is lacking and needs some exposure to the spiritual struggle of the Christians of the first 1500 years of Christianity who have articulated the doctrine of the Godhead with great internal coherance, and spiritual faithfulness. The Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit are not ‘aspects’ of the same Godhead, for that does not express their personhood; The Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit are all persons. Yet the Unity of the Godhead is not an impersonal participation in a common power, or impersonal Essence, but is derived from the Person of the Father, from Whom the Son is Eternally Begotten, and the Spirit Eternally Proceeds. Thus we have an Eternal Communion of Persons. From the Father is also derived Eternally the Common ‘nature’ of the Three.
To speak of the Son and the Spirit and the Father as ‘aspects’ is too close to the well-recognized heresy of ‘modalism’ or Sabellianism, and must be avoided, to embrace fully the revelation we have of the Godhead.

Sorry but the scripture refutes you. YAHWEH is the SPIRIT of Truth. The Holt Spirit is the indwelling of YAHWEH in HIS elect (the Adamic RACE). And Yahshua was YHWH made flesh for only HE could provide the perfect sacrifice.

which suggests that Pilate had Jesus scourged and crucified, (put to death, a.k.a. MURDERED, except that it was considered a sentence for crimes against God, right?) becuase he was essentially blackmailed?
None of the accounts in the Bible I have read talk about how Pilate stood back and allowed the Jews to punish Jesus, do they? If so tell me where, please. I want to re-read that part. Appeasement or aggression, Pontius Pilate supposedly gave the order to have Jesus go through that ordeal that resulted in his death, or was the death attributed to the spear?

First, the scrolls prove what any other religious texts prove. The prove that somebody knew how to write.
Second, they were suppressed, but it was done by the scholars. It is believed, but not confirmed, that the Vatican had a hand in it. That is because many things in the text undermine the Christian church.
