We are just as guilty as the next, where we tend to get a bit frumpy or take less time and effort into putting together our office style and office wardrobe, but this is a friendly and beautiful reminder TO GET IT TOGETHER, GIRLFRIEND! Dress for the job you want, isn’t that how the saying goes?

Upgrading your office style can be done in a simple and affordable way.

A few tips we’ve put together for you include:

• Get rid of clothes that don’t fit. Whether they are too big or too small, donate them somewhere. Less clutter in your closet will make getting ready in the morning much easier; we promise! Same goes for shoes.
• If something needs to be tailored or a button sewn back on, do it. Stop procrastinating. If your shoes need resoling or shining, get on it!
• If something just isn’t flattering, out with the old.
• Are your glasses old and flimsy? Get a new pair that really accentuates your face, so on the days you want to skip the contacts, you’re not sacrificing style!
• Try a clothes swap with a few friends that are the same size. Those mary jane shoes you are so over may be the treasure your friend has been on a vintage hunt for! You never know, plus it’s free and easy and an excuse to hang out with girlfriends!
• Go for a power lip. Yes, we said POWER LIP. Sometimes upgrading your office style has nothing to do with wardrobe at all, but adding a bold color to your lips, like with our new lip stain, can do wonders. Plus, the best part is that they are long-lasting so you won’t have to spend precious work time reapplying.
