‘Beyond Science’: Doctor Says She Visited Heaven During a Near-Death Experience — and What She Learned Haunted Her for Years

Dr. Mary Neal, an orthopedic spine surgeon who describes herself as a “concrete thinker” who isn’t “fanciful” and doesn’t exaggerate, spent a long time trying to explain a seemingly inexplicable event that unfolded back in 1999 following a near-death experience.
After almost drowning during a kayaking accident while on a trip to Chile — and supposedly going without oxygen for 24 minutes — Neal remarkably survived without sustaining any brain damage.
And as if that weren’t miraculous enough, she claims that she visited heaven, interacted with spirits and was warned about her son’s death 10 years before it happened — an experience that left her confused and in awe.
When Neal recovered from her traumatic accident, she said that she found herself on a journey seeking answers, wondering whether she had imagined the entire heavenly ordeal.
“I really needed to figure out what I had experienced. I have gone through the process of coming up with alternative explanations,” the doctor told OWN TV’s “In Deep Shift,” noting that she considered the possibility of dreams and hallucinations. ”We always want to find an explanation that we can understand other than something that is divine. I am a very concrete thinker. I’m not fanciful. I don’t exaggerate.”

Great story. She says she was made privy to the big picture. Life the galaxy and everything and she didn’t tell us! Noooooo! I new it wasn’t 42 like in the hitchhikers guide. Does anyone know has she ever disclosed it? I wonder if maybe she was told not too?

You know, I have been going through hundreds of these Near death experiences. Hundreds. And , yes, this one was one of them. For some reason not ONE of themn ever comes back with the “big answers”. It’s almost as if the blindness we are forces into down here is mandatory. I think it sucks.
Hers may be authentic, but I always discount every single one that doesn’t have confirming testimony, such as a doctor or nurse affirming they were, in fact, dead at all. Especially drowning victims. One of the things that can prove they were in God’s presence is the sense of indescribable love, because demons are simply incapable of radiating that, but as a physician she would have heard these and known in her subconcious what to expect.
I believe after these many hundreds of testimonies that there are several levels of dimensions in the afterlife, and none of them are actually “heaven”, Furthermore, every case of people that ended up in hell, and were genuinely declared dead, were enticed by “dead relatives” or “angels” who required them to voluntarily “go with them”, and got pressing and persistent when they were hesitant. All the instant journeys to hell I heard, appeared to be people caught in a fire.. just as suspect “heavens” occured to drowning victims, suspect “hells” appeared to fire victims.
I suggest you check out ndeaccounts on YT or other near death experiences channels. There’s a whole lot of them now..

I don’t expect anybody to accept insights gained because of an acid trip, but what happened to me that night was nothing short of spiritual emancipation. I see.

The Shepherds Chapel wouldn’t have me, elijah, well not for long once i started asking hard questions.
For example: when Adam named his wife the Christ, in the flesh, had not yet come so how could he have meant only those living in Christ? Perhaps Adam did mean what you say he did and if you had a couple of witnesses your position would be much more tenable.
The only way to arrive at your position is to presume you know what Adam meant aside from what he said and that’s adding to the word.
