Eyewitness: Authorities Announced Drill Before Boston Explosions
UM coach “thought it was odd” bomb sniffing dogs were at start and finish lines

An eyewitness to the two explosions at the Boston Marathon today said that a “drill” was repeatedly announced before the bombs exploded and that he “thought it was odd” bomb sniffing dogs were in place before the blast.

University of Mobile’s Cross Country Coach Ali Stevenson told Local 15 News, ““They kept making announcements on the loud speaker that it was just a drill and there was nothing to worry about. “It seemed like there was some sort of threat, but they kept telling us it was just a drill.”
The news station also reports that Stevenson “thought it was odd there were bomb sniffing dogs at the start and finish lines.”

I find it very suspicious that they would have a bomb drill on the same day as the marathon. It probably is another false flag. My heart goes out to these people that lost their lives and were dismembered. if this was a government entity that did this, I hope they pay for it one day.

I’m normally one for conspiracy theories, but two things on this one. First off there is no Local 15 News station here in Boston. Secondly cellular service wasn’t shut down, the network was overloaded from people trying to get intouch with each other and went down as a result. I was still able to text people I knew that were downtown watching the race. They BPD actually advised people to text instead of call just because the network was overloaded. If the bombs could be triggered by a call don’t you think they could have been triggered by a text message?

Really thanks for posting this.On the news they said the FBI said they shut down the phones.Personally i seems more and more like this was a real attack that they are just trying to use to their advantage as any country does.

Well I am sure someone has started hooting ” something is going to happen” said each week and here something happened and now there will be a thousands theory’s.
The whole thing was rather nuts. I was already watching news when it cut in. The executive producer of CNN saying lots about it, then after him talking for 4-5 mins everything shut down. TV, Phone, Internet and cell phones. So it led to some speculation. We got back online with it all by 8-9 pm. From just after 3. Sad thing is others in my city had everything but internet and phones. Only the streets around me got the full shut down. ~”put all your bills on one bill and cable in feed, you wont regret it”~ !Yeah right!
So I went and did what any Mom who is always tired did, I went and napped.
The sad thing is , No one will believe it was just a basic attack. The government story lines will be dismissed unless there is serious proof. Even then, I hope this does not lead to a pathetic man hunt, then after they kill the person “responsible” we find out they had no way to do it or some sad stuff.

The horrible part for us at home was it was my sons 17th and we had plans to watch a movie and order dinner. I got stuck making BLT’s and my some ditched my for his grandmothers who did have internet and tv. Kids these days can barely live with out being connected 24/7

There are so many absurd conspiracy theories that people concentrate on instead of what really matters.
Why do people stress DETAILS about an attack instead of thinking about the victims?
That is a sign of an immature soul, IMO, to look at the trees and not even realize there is a big, beautiful forest that actually deserves your attention.
In all probability they stopped all cell phone service because they didn’t know if there were any more bombs in the area. If there were more bombs, they could possibily be remotely detonated from a cell phone. So the safe thing to do was to cut all cell service until a full sweep was done. Which from the reports I saw, they found a few other devices, not detonated. My understanding is killing cell service is standard procedure in this type of situation, makes sense to me as it could save lives.
