Yahoo’s Feature News, “What the New Jersey earthquake tells us”  doesn’t tell half. If Muslims take Jerusalem as Zechariah 14:1,2 says, “The Lord shall roar from Jerusalem [He is the Lion of Judah, Rev 5:5]…the heavens and earth shall shake” (Joel 3:16) to initiate “day of the Lord” as God shakes earth terribly,” Isaiah 2:12,21. 

I believe Donald Trump is in Bible prophecy as well as on an Israeli coin as Cyrus II, but most readers would be more amazed at Cyrus I who was named more than 100 years before his birth in Isaiah 45:1 where it mentions two gates. Cyrus knew nothing of Isaiah’s writings when he diverted the Euphrates River into a reservoir and marched under Babylon’s wall at night to discover two gates open. He conquered Babylon with no loss of life.

When Daniel showed Cyrus his name in the ancient writings taken from Jerusalem 70 years earlier, Cyrus was so impressed that he freed Israel from captivity and helped pay their way back home and a donation for their temple also mentioned in the verse before Isaiah 45.

God is quoted as saying, “I formed you in the womb.” Isaiah 44:24. Cyrus believed God knew him before birth. But this also suggests a concern for 63 million abortions that would interfere with God’s work and we recall God punished Egypt for throwing Israel’s babies in the river–the US is more guilty and deserving of judgment than Egypt.

Historians tell us that “history repeats.” It’s based on Solomon (Israel’s wisest king) who said, “What is to come has been already, and God summons each event back in its turn.” It suggests relevance to news in the Middle East since Hamas attacked Israel, killing 1200. Strong’s  Concordance shows “hamas,” the Hebrew word for violence in Genesis 6:13 where God sorrowed for violence that was filling the world before the Flood.

I predicted war with Iraq before 9-11, based on Daniel’s “vision at the time of the end” of a ram pushing north into Russian, south into Africa, and west to Europe and US. The ram’s horns represented the kings of Media and Persia, but those areas are now Iraq and Iran. A goat flies from the west to stomp the ram and break its horns. This much of the vision is half fulfilled with Saddam gone.

In Bible times, animal horns were cut off to make trumpets, and the goat’s great horn could be Trump that makes the goat great in Daniel 8:8, because the horns are part of the picture in Daniel 8:20,21 and also in Genesis 22 where God tested Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son Isaac, but was spared when he saw a ram that he could sacrifice, caught by its horn in a bush. George Bush caught the first ram! God is amazing to include so much future in imagery from nearly 4000 years ago.

Daniel 8:21 says the goat’s great horn was the first king of Grecia. History shows that was Alexander the Great, but “the vision is at the time of the end,” (verse 17) so Trump might be intended and it could mean, since kings are not elected, that war with Iran would come before November and US military would go for it.

It is worthy of notice that Turkey’s President Erdogan has appealed for 57 Muslim nations to siege Israel. He says that Jerusalem was their city in the Ottoman Empire, but that was a century ago. Nevertheless, the last chapter of Zechariah supports what Erdogan wants, with (Muslim) nations against Jerusalem, houses rifled, women raped, half the city goes into captivity. This could be at Passover—that’s when Titus sieged Jerusalem in 70 AD.

Believing this is so, “the Lord shall roar from Jerusalem…the heavens and earth shall shake” (Joel 3:16) and the Muslims will flee. But the above two passages have “day of the Lord” context when God “will shake earth terribly” Isaiah 2:12,21.

Tje San Andreas movie released in 2015 was a heads up because that fault is 80 years overdue and scientists say it can bring calamity “anytime.” We might say, “God bless America,” but maybe He can’t do so until we ask His help to repent?
