Bro it is really, really commendable that compelled by character you have an honest desire to help others. Your unpolished dialog and well intention efforts are more than evident. I saw something in you I don’t often see in others. For this reason I suspect you are a good man, or are trying hard to be. This is why I’ve decided to take a moment or two to hopefully provide you a better understanding of that I have recognized as error. I pray you are capable of accepting this gesture in the spirit it was given. If I was a betting man I would wager you are. It is out of love that I approach you in this personalized fashion.

I TOO AM A STUDENT OF THE WORD. I can’t really explain my motivation, if in fact it is on my own accord, but I feel that you your ear is in need of my whisper. If I’m missed the mark I truly apologize. I was watching your video , but when you mentioned “rapture” my heart sunk faster than a fishing wait in a catfish pond. I’m not sure if you are aware of the history of this doctrine, but this originates with the harlot, or mother of false religion. The Catholic Church. This single piece of misinformation has polluted nearly all of Christendom.

The scriptures speak instead of resurrection, the first and the second one. The belief that we have a self sustaining immortal soul is sheer fantasy. This idea created by the harlot does not correlate at all with scripture. If it were true why then would man need to be resurrected, he would be spirit after death and would proceed either up or down depending on behavior? How then would the second death possible? See the conflict with truth here? It does not pass the smell test!

REv 20:4 “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them:and I saw the souls of them that had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as worshipped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years. The rest of the dead lived not until the thousand years should be finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection:over these the second death hath no power; but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.” (Note: those in the first round are resurrected to a spiritual body where those in the second are given restored physical bodies. If they refuse God’s way they will pay the ransom of unrepented sin, they will be put to death, or the second death!

Both ascending to Heaven and descending to a torturous eternal hell are not the doctrine of the true Church. Those with God’s Spirit understand that the eternal punishment referenced in scripture merely means that the the punishment that God doles out for insubordination is final, its about death which last forever, its about never again having access to Almighty God our Father or His promise of resurrection given to man. Think about that infamous passage we all know from attending funerals that goes; “from the ground you came, to the ground you shall return.” This is in cooperation with what scripture says about the penalty for unrepented sin being death. The ransom is not defined as eternal torture. Yahweh is a self proclaimed God of Love (agape) who sacrificed His son so that we may live. He would never execute such cruelty on his prized creation. This fact is evidenced in the Bibles book Romans.

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

I believe the misunderstanding about man going to heaven probably originated with the scripture that depicts the resurrection of the 144,000 tried and true who at the instant of Christ’s return rise to meet him. They, the firstfruits resurrected to spirit rise to the heavens, not Heaven where God resides. They are to meet Jesus in the clouds as he descends from Heaven. This is going to miraculous display for all to see. A cllective viewing would never be possible if it where to occur so far off in Heaven. What I find remarkable is the fact that ascending to Heaven was Satan the devils expressed aspiration, yet Jesus on the other hand said that no man has ascended to Heaven.

John 3:12 “If I told you earthly things and ye believe not, how shall ye believe if I tell you heavenly things? And no one hath ascended into heaven, but he that descended out of heaven, even the Son of man, who is in heaven.”

Ascending to Heaven was in truth never part of God’s plan for His creation, man. In fact what God has in mind is exactly opposite of this blasphemous concept. God’s plan is to bring the Kingdom of God to earth where He shall rein here on earth as our Father, our God and we shall be His children. Remember the second verse of the Lords Prayer Jesus gave us, it says; “Thy Kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Remember how in Revelations the “New Jerusalem” is described perfectly as it is descending from Heaven to earth.

Rev. 21:2 “And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven of God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of the throne saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he shall dwell with them, and they shall be his peoples, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.”

Exodus 29:45 “And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God. And they shall know that I am Jehovah their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them:I am Jehovah their God.”

Brother the above passage is a slam dunk. It clearly reveals how God’s true plan has nothing to do with man ever joining Him in Heaven. That was Christ who did that! Understand that as prideful carnal men it is far simpler to dupe us than it is to later convince us we’ve been duped. We despise being that vulnerable and clueless and often refuse to accept it. We so consistently just attempt to convince ourselves and defend that which cannot be defended. This probably applies more to religion than any other faucet of life.

As human beings we like to think it’s okay to believe whatever we want. Think about how many times have you heard people say everybody is entitled to their own opinion or it doesn’t matter what religion you practice, we all worship the same god. This mindset is poison because it is untrue. It’s an outright lie. Yahweh has identified Himself as a jealous God who shares His glory with no other god. God calls the worshiping of false depictions of Him, His son Jesus or even demeaning His wonderful plan for mankind idolatry. If this sin is left unrepented of you cannot receive God’s Spirit. He will never dwell in sin. That is why repentance is required and God provided a mechanism through Christ Jesus.

God’s Spirit has a tendency to sweep you off your feet. I am a former Jehovah’s Witness myself.
