Pornographer Aids Sex-Criminal Spy

Larry Flynt has offered aid to Julian Assange, as noted by Sister Toldjah:

First it was disgraced liberal “documentarian” Michael Moore. Now Hustler publisher and fellow liberal icon Larry Flynt has stepped up to the plate to not only defend and support global scumbag Julian Assange, but also to – as Moore did – suggest that if Wikileaks had existed sooner the Iraq war might have been prevented…

Some times we are known by the company we keep – Assange now has two people who have done much to deform the public debate in his corner…and it is just about a perfect match to himself.  After all, what has he done?  Merely release documents while bearing no responsibility for the ill-effects of this knowledge reaching the wider world.

While governments often do classify things which are merely embarrassing, there is a genuine need for some things to remain secret – especially in the matter of diplomacy.  The unexpected release of classified documents can totally destroy a diplomatic effort long in creation – principals clam up, deals are undone, enemies easily pick up the pieces.  Its not for nothing that governments attempt to penetrate the security of diplomatic cables – the information is often invaluable in defeating the efforts of a nation in global affairs.  Wikileaks has done this to our efforts – meaning that the efforts, mistaken or not, of the one nation in the world which assures peace and justice.

Assange deserves no defenders – what he did was shameful; and long after he has faded from the headlines, American policy will be suffering the ill-effects of this treason-espionage.
