A New Age “messiah” has now arrived on the scene. A man who claims to be the god of all religions and who has been reported to perform miracles and disappear from the scene. This man whom they are calling Maitreya is grabbing many in his deceptive web, and while it sounds like something straight out of a sci-fi magazine those who experienced it hold fast to their confessions.
As a Christian any man, being, alien or demonic entity that comes claiming they are god is nothing but a false Christ that we were warned about in the book of Matthew. This man—or whatever he is—might be performing miracles and disappearing (or tricking those into believing such) but either way this just proves all the more he is a worker of Satan himself. For God warns us in the Bible that the Antichrist will come performing great signs and miracles and will deceive many in the world. While no one knows who this mysterious character really is I can tell you he is NOT of God.
The Bible tells us that when Christ comes back to this earth it won’t be until after the reign of the Antichrist is complete. So any man that claims himself god in the meantime is either the Antichrist himself or a false Christ (a type of Antichrist).

These are two things that Christians know the Antichrist will promote. So if anything this Maitreya character is nothing but a type of Antichrist. While he may or may not be the Antichrist himself, I’m sure many will serve this false Christ and call him god, even though Christians around the world are well aware of his deception. Matthew 24:24 warns us that this will happen, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

I am sooooooo happy that I am not a religious person and that I don´t have to spend my life going around being scared all the time, and having an uncontrolable urge to try and scare others. Fortunately I was born in a country where religion is practically outdated and people walk around free and happy. In my country it is normal to be an atheist. We take responsibility for our own actions and we don´t need a Devil to be the cause of stupid things people do.
Also, what is wrong with social justice? What is it with you american and the concept of social justice? Isn´t it a christian thing to give to the poor and helping people who are not as priviledged as oneself? You always scream about this concept being socialist/communism. In my country we get payed to go to college, because it is considered a right for every citizen to get an education, we also have free hospital and personal doctors. Most public things in my country is free. We are still a free democratic society, and we can vote for who ever we want – and you know what ? We can become a powerful politician here without being filthy rich, unlike your country, where you have two people to vote for, filthy rich and both with practically same politics! In my country we have many different parties and people to vote for. So we have social justice AND democracy so you see, not the same thing.
