This is the new Fangbook from the LA based computer maker Cyberpower, they are calling it the X7-100 but what it should be called is WOW! Because this is an exciting development in the gaming sector of the laptop market and as usual when it comes to gamers it is going to mean choices and there are a lot of decisions to be made with here. But if the budget is to be an issue then maybe the base model is the one to go for and that is the one that we are going to be looking at right now.
We know that this is a machine designed with the gamer in mind, but what exactly does this laptop have to offer, well it does have a lovely sized 17.3 inch screen with a FHD LED Back lit display offering a 1920 x 1080 of pixel resolutions. It will be running on the latest Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit Edition) operating system and powered by the Intel Core i7-3630QM Mobile Processor with a 2.40 GHz to 3.40 GHz clock speed and a 6M Smart Cache. There is support for the Intel HM77 Express Chipset Mainboard and those all important video graphics will be coming from the NVIDIA GTX 675MX 4 GB PCIe video card.
With up to 8 GB (4GBx2) of DDR3-1333 SODIMM Memory available and an average sized 500 GB 5400 RPM SATA300 hard disk drive (HDD). Communications will be coming from the Built in Intel N2230 (WLAN 802.11 b/g/n + Bluetooth 4.0) Combo Card and the handy built in Killer E2200 10/100/1000 Mbps Network Card. There are two standard style USB 2.0 Ports, three super fast connecting USB 3.0 ports, built in HD web camera, 4 in 1 Media Reader and a 9 Cells Lithium-Ion battery pack.
Cyberpower have put a starting price of around $1,350 for this exciting gaming laptop, but there are plenty of options to choose from and that means the final price is going to go one way and that is up.
