On the increasing levels of stupidity

Realism, populism and extremism are just increasing levels of stupidity. And, our only defense against stupidity is satire (as in Charlie Hebdo) and poetry. For this reason, stupidity does all it can to get rid of satire (and of poetry if necessary), as witnessed by the deed against Charlie Hebdo.

I can’t draw, but I do my best to disclose stupidity in science (like cladistics and particle physics) on this blog. Especially when the stupidity fundamentally is the same stupidity as in race biology. This particular stupidity has a tendency to reappear over and over again in different disguises, although it has been falsified long ago both theoretically and practically. It is just as if its proponents think that its “natural” appearance can defeat both theoretical and practical falsification. But, as I stated above, our only weapon against stupidity is satire (and poetry). If the stupid could understand our rational arguments, then they would not be stupid. We thus can’t get rid of stupidity neither in science by arguments alone, but have to refrain to satire (and poetry).

Science can thus not prevent itself from going nuts, but has to rely on satire (and poetry) to doing the trick. Without the help from satire (and poetry), science is actually doomed to going nuts. Sooner or later a majority of scientists believe that they can reach the truth (as cladists and particle physicists presently do), which is the turning point from sense to nonsense.
