YEAR 1: Our Post-Economic Collapse World (Overview)

END GAME LIFE TRANSITION:

The transition from a “Money” to a “No Money” society will hit those with fewest analog skills hardest. In this high tech digital age, doing things “the old fashioned way” will come as a real shock to them. The transition from a free society to a military society will be messy. There will be ALOT of spoiled, ignorant, demanding, bullying thug/gang types who will initially stand against these force…AND DIE…and this is just the beginning.

Now remember… some towns, communities, cities and families will be impacted more dramatically than others… and may hardly notice anything at first. This article is geared towards the average suburb where most folks live these days. Those who live in the countryside will be impacted less by violence by more harshly by lack of readily available resources as time passes until new sources are identified.
 

So here we go…

***C-R-A-S-H!!!***   -That’s the sound of your piggy bank hitting the bottom of a deep pit…

- NOW WHAT?

DAY 1:

Regardless of who you are… or where you are; whatever gas is left in your car; whatever food is left in your house; whatever clothes you own today… that’s all you’ve got to start your new life with. READY? Your cash is now worthless or super-inflated and you don’t have enough to buy stuff at the local store. Your ATM/Credit/Debit card also no longer allows you to buy anything either. The rush for food & resources by mobbing the local stores is on!!! If you snooze you will lose according to the new reality that has just crashed on top of you. And be ready for laws will be broken by the millions each second from this point forward as this new reality sinks into folks fog laced minds… the police will be helpless and no longer paid…ditto for the military. It’s hard to lay your life down for, well… nothing. You used to die for your countrymen to protect them… but what do you die for if you are now killing your countrymen? What/Who are you fighting for now?  

MONTH 1:

Initially, people won’t do much during the initial 2-3 days out of confusion the media will certainly cause. Folks will continue living thinking things will “Get Better” soon. However, as unprepared family pantries start running out food & water after 3-14 days…they will take to the streets begging for food & breaking into homes, stores and regular “shops.” Homeowners will be forced to defend their homes with deadly force, if needed. This will be heartbreaking for all because if you give these unprepared/lazy folks any food, they will demand more and try killing you for being prepared… and making your food their own.

The Bible makes it clear that it is okay to use deadly force to provide protection for yourself / your family… (Contrary to gov’t owned church pulpits who state otherwise with great guilt). Jesus wants us to be at peace with our neighbors as far as it is possible by us… but when not possible… we are expected to defend ourselves / families / weak / orphaned / elderly…etc. And God’s people don’t FALTER / HESITATE to confront evil head on!

Even more heartbreaking… the sickly, infirmed or critical health folks health will also start failing as resources/caregivers fail. Breakdown of all basic & emergency services occur as the “system” is overwhelmed and just shuts down or runs out of critical supplies and means to support employees. Remember, there’s no “real” money to pay workers anymore as systems grow more dependent on “Volunteers.”

Death tolls continue rising daily as those not fit, ready or willing to survive die off… suicides & hopelessness reign as the new reality sets in… drug withdrawals, violence, dysentary & dehydration kill the rest. Churches, food pantries and shelters are now closed / gone / opened sporadically after being overrunned by the sheer magnitude of need. Gov’t is nowhere to be seen with help or relief. The military / small militias start popping up trying to control everybody through violence. The politicians who caused this mess are GONE. The bodies continue to be buried en masse wherever feasible if heavy duty equipment is not available.

Hungry gangs & wandering groups of “desperate” people pose threats to local communities. Local communities start forming “Security Perimeters” to protect their small piece of society, sharing resources (Google: Stone Soup Story (See YT Video)), caring and helping one another as they organize “Salvage/Scavenging” runs to locate resources to care for their community… and keep strangers out.

MONTHS 2-12:

More prepared family pantries start running out now. Dysentary, dehydration, poisoning and minimal IMMUNITY due to overuse of antibiotics leave many folks vulnerable… and start showing up in greater numbers. However, more prepared folks have fared better being in general good health at time of the crash.

Folks are slowly adjusting & learning to accept their new reality. It seems every family has suffered tragedy and comforting neighbors is essential to healing and facing the challenges we once took for granted. Many homes are now abandoned or burnt down. Most company doors are closed. Cars are abandoned everywhere… a few have fuel sources to still run for a limited time. But many small communities are still pulling together to REBUILD.

CHURCH / BIBLE / FAITH now play a HUGE ROLE in daily life gives each day meaning, purpose and strength to move through & make sense of the tragedy or madness. God’s word is leaned on to build a solid moral base for all to abide by and treat each other well… like our ancestors did to survive and build this once great nation.

Small communities have started organizing new governing systems which may vary from town-to-town. New traders have established themselves to open trading routes for trading with other local area communities. NEWS and information becomes a tradable commodity. Gold / silver start reappearing but it’s worth is highly questionable (at this point) since it cannot be eaten. Survival is still the #1 order of the day… and folks know they can steal the gold later from the starved rich corpse’s homes.

People start learning new roles to: clean water; handle waste correctly; cooking; hunting, trading, nursing, salvaging, growing, preparing, defending, building, managing, fixing… resources for everybody’s benefit. EVERYBODY IS NOW IMPORTANT to the success of these tasks… and the communities survival. The lazy are asked to leave. Thieves are summarily shot. Loyalty, Trust & Honor become everything as Town Motto’s becomes : “If you are not for us, you are against us.”

Year 1 & Ongoing:

Folks, Families & Communities with access to clean water, raising gardens & livestock all cooperating will survive & thrive in this new reality. Whereas selfish, unprepared folks who do NOT understand “EVERYBODY COUNTS” and is NEEDED for SURVIVAL…well,  they are doomed. Well fed, cared for, motivated folks PRODUCE MORE than they ever consume… and can trade the excess with others.

Communities with a moral standard remain strong, those without a moral thread to guide them all towards the same goal crumble into dust. Gangs continue to be a problem for thriving towns who are prime targets. This evil must be ”dealt with severely” since their goal is to control them all through terror, death, destruction and theft.

I don’t care how much of this you agree or disagree with. I speak from personal life experience… NOT THEORY. I speak from historical precedence, not fiction. Go ahead and ignore this now… but remember these words when you are driven away from every home & town for being lazy, unprepared and so arrogant as to believe nothing bad could ever happen to you. LIFE HAPPENS… so be ready to deal with it!
