Sure, people have been saying that they are in the “end times” for ages now, saying that “Jesus is coming soon”. Seriously these Jesus freaks keep on saying the same thing and nothing ever really happens. In fact, it is such an old “war cry” that you have tuned it out which in turn has hardened your heart to the warnings. But our time truly is limited. Please just take a quick glance at the mainstream headlines and put the pieces together. There is no denying the signs; the “labor pain” symptoms any longer.

Nope, its not from ISON. BP is making stuff up. He’s trying to backtrack again because of his previous failed predictions of ISON debris hitting us.
There’s no way any piece of Comet ISON could get the energy to change that much from the original comet orbit. The asteroid’s orbit is almost circular. ISON was in a long period orbit of over 400,000 yrs or quite possibly an orbit that will never bring it back into the solar system. Where did the energy come from that would have changed it that much? In one of BP’s fantasies, is the only place.
Remember, ISON passed over 2.75 million miles above the Earth’s orbit at the end of October 2013 and the beginning of November 2013. Even BP admits the debris trail is only a few hundred thousand kilometers thick. So, how are we in any danger since the majority of the sand-grain and micron-sized dust is a couple million miles from us? You guessed correctly if you chose the no danger option. lol

Don’t you know that the debris trail we’re going to pass through in mid-January was left before the comet broke apart? That invalidates all the BS you just spewed above.
All the other pieces of ISON from after it broke apart are now over 44 million miles away from the Earth high above the ecliptic plane the planets orbit in. They are moving away in the original orbit never to be seen again.

Hello everyone that has commented. Which point of view is correct? Time will tell all. I still tend to lean that there is debrie larger than a volkswagen still left from Comet ISON and due to begin passing by earth on or about January 12th. A vigorous debate is always good. The twist and turns of life never end…
You mean the comet was breaking apart before perihelion and left behind pieces as big as cars? I’m sorry, but that view is not supported one bit by the observational evidence acquired at the time of ISON’s passage in that area. It is also not supported by years and years of evidence we’ve gathered from hundreds of comets that have passed close to Earth.
Comets in one piece generally shed mostly micron-sized dust particles. Some sand grain-sized pieces and pea-sized pieces could be shed, but the percentage of that type of debris would be extremely small.
We’ve gathered the above facts from observations from the ground and in space over the years. Spacecraft have flown into comets’ comas and directly measured the dust particle sizes. Anyone claiming that there are bigger pieces in ISON’s pre-perihelion debris trail are either lying or mistaken.
BTW, ISON did have an “outburst” around November 13/14, 2013, and something larger might have been shed then, but it was way past the Earth on the way to the Sun at that point. None of that could be what we will encounter in mid-January.

Always thanks for your input. Yes I have limited knowledge of astronomy. This is my thoughts with my limited knowledge. For the record, I believe it was whole before perihelion. In the end I may have to agree with you.

My knowledge was acquired over the years. I was a “comet freak” in grade school in the 1960′s. Saw my first comet in the early 1970′s (Comet Kohoutek.) I took my first photo of a comet in 1985 (Halley’s Comet.) I’ve been shooting pictures of comets ever since. Some have been published on the covers of books and science journals. Some are used on popular astronomy websites like Sky & Telescope (the Nov 14th image at the link above, for instance.)
So, you can see I’ve accumulated lots of info on the subject over the years. I live for taking pictures of comets and its a passion of mine that I hope I’ll never lose.

I want you to think about this: Today or yesterday a couch sized asteriod hit earth and for only the second time in history we actually saw it coming. I’m over simplifying, to be certain, but here’s the rest of my point. The Chelyabinsk meteor, Feb 2013, was associated with Asteroid 1012 DA14 yet had a completely different trajectory and we never saw it coming. All the talk was DA14.
My point? We don’t know half as much as we think we do.

Comet Ison is a holographic projection. There was no comet, these are missiles launched from the space platform, there is no real evidence, no sighting with the naked eye, no nothing, just bulldust from NASA and holographic projection pictures. Even the photo showing a triangular light source. It is all a part of the deception/distraction. I have seen smaller comets that were further away, there is not one shed of proof that Ison actually exists. It is all a figment of imagination/propaganda. I am tired of hearing about the no show. This is a solid case of the Emperors New Clothes peeps.

For the rest of anyone reading these articles don’t mind InLikeFlint, he has the odds on his side for nothing to happen, but unfortunately things are already happening. There have been many instances of meteors falling with some through houses and even tiny meteorites hitting a child in Florida plus numerous falling in the ocean or flying by.
Ison went through an asteroid belt before it left a debris field which bounced them around some also, so to believe that nothing but fairy dust will pepper us so gently is so funny to believe that I had to wipe the tears away believing nothing is going to happen

Check the graph out. The increase in fireball meteors started long before ISON even got into the inner solar system. Therefore, it can’t be coming from ISON. Duh!

Mid january we pass ‘near’ to where ISON ‘was’ a week or two before the end of last year. All we can possibly expect is the assimilation of sublimated ices from the comet. Fact Jack.
