Egyptian Security Complicit in Massacre of Christians?

(AINA) — The car explosion that went off in front of Saints Coptic Orthodox Church in Alexandria killed 21 and injured 96 parishioners who were attending a New Year’s Eve Mass. According to church officials and eyewitnesses, there are many more victims that are still unidentified and whose body parts were strewn all over the street outside the church. The body parts were covered with newspapers until they were brought inside the church after some Muslims started stepping on them and chanting Jihadi chants…

Massacring our brothers and sisters, and then dancing on their remains.  The insanity of it all – the gross inhumanity!  What did these Christians ever do to anyone in the Moslem world?  Nothing but exist, I guess…nothing but be a powerless minority.  Nothing but be a standing challenge to the corruption and social atrophy produced by Mohammad’s heresy where ever it is imposed.

We really do need to do something.  Some are calling for a mass exodus of Christians from Moslem lands – and that may be a solution.  But such a solution does consign all of Islam to permanent error.  I don’t think we Christians can refuse to bring the Good News, even (and especially) to those who danced on the bodies of murdered Christians.

Once upon a time such an outrage would have raised a Christian expeditionary force and I can’t help but thinking that may end up being the only way to resolve this.  Some security must be created for the Christians of the Moslem world, and I can’t see any way the Moslems, themselves, will ever provide it.
