Satan is always moving about the air and working in the hearts of men to commit sinful things. The majority of this world population is following Satan or Satan is at work in their life. The air itself is polluted with sins created by the works of Satan. Satan will continue to work until Jesus Christ comes back again to defeat him (Revelation 19:11-21).

1) Job 1:6-7, “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.” When God asked Satan where he had been, Satan replied that he had been on the Earth, “walking up and down in it”.

2) Ephesians 2:6-7, the Apostle Paul calls Satan the “Prince of the Power of the Air“. The reference to “air” refers to the air surrounding this Earth. It is just another way of saying “Earth”. Paul’s picture here is that of Satan being the Absolute Dictator (Prince) of this Earth. The Apostle John also speaks of Satan with this title, in John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11)
