Yes the grocery pages were a wonderful thing. People were helped all over the world. The grocery pages were set up where people ( donators) would directly help the people in need. The fundraising for HAY for the farmers was real as well. The fundraisers were legitimate. We loved those pages for we knew as admins, that we were really helping those people. Question: What happened the night Chris so called hijacked the RV?
Answer: We drove out of Ottawa to dump the waste tanks at a Canadian Tire 45min away. Monica was driving, Chris was in passenger seat, Cashe and Kat were in the back. Raven stayed in Ottawa and wasn’t involved in anyway. After we dumped, they said they were going to go over to the Source and then to the Metro Grocery Store while RD had a shower so I could dump grey water again afterwards. They said they would be back in less than 30 min. Then we were going to get propane and fuel towards Ottawa.
We were there waiting 35-40min for them to come back and we couldn’t see them at either store. So we called them and they were already just about back in Ottawa. They apparently had planned to go to dinner with the rest of the other convoy, but didn’t tell us.
Then after RD threatened to have her fake hidden military to blow them up they turned around and met us at the gas station to get propane. Kat and Cashe were the lease holders of that RV and they were in it so nobody hijacked anything and nobody was kidnapped. There was just miscommunication and they should have told us they had dinner plans with the rest of the convoy. Chris told Monica to drive back and she should have listened to the orders given to stay with our RV.
That night RD had a discussion with them and it was resolved. Then the next day after Chris spent a couple hours setting up cameras and equipment for RD’s walk around a few blocks she decided to kick them off the bus 15min before the walk. In our opinion it wasn’t handled very well at all and there was no need for it especially at that moment. Considering she resolved it the night before and they agreed to communicate better. RD exaggerated it out of proportion and said she had a download to kick them off the bus immediately.
