Are You Ready For Humanoid Robots Like This One?

We have somehow entered into a terminator-irobot reality, without much fanfare, social debate, moral dilemmas or rejection… and one must wonder why that is?  Has this been the plan all along, to merge the new world order with a merging of artificial lifeforms, artificial intelligence and automated control? Sure, one friendly robot could turn into a rabid killer without much more needed than a simple change in computer coding.  To date there’s no oversight, no laws, no ethical board discussing implications… just a full on head on approach into a terminator-like reality.  Is it too much to ask that humanity slows down it techno-rush into dangerous territory? Are we supposed to just ‘trust the science’ while the science comes up with new ways to control, monitor, censor and engineer humanity? Robots are they the new social celebrity, the new social engineer and new social watch dog all in one, and what is stopping them from being armed and patrolling the streets… or is that already happening somewhere in the world, or maybe it’s coming as early as tomorrow?
